Think it may be time to consider a new knife. The steel's worn pretty thin on mine and it's not holding its edge for more than a few skins, even with honing. I swear, if it's not one thing, it's another Pity I was on the trail or I could have checked the merchants' stalls during the festival. No, having a good knife's pretty good. Although it's sometimes goor with more than one.

Pretty vital too. Kinda hard to clean a kill with a sword blade.

You must be a hardworker to be in need of a new blade. But it sounds to me like it would be easier to just get a new knife.

I've had this one for years, so it's no surprise the blade's worn down. The handle's sentimental, I guess. Would rather keep it if it can be salvaged.
