Not really done, but I'm calling quits on week two before it gets even more frustrating. Actually, I'm close to calling quits on the whole thing. It's such a pathetic effort.
I don't think it's too late. To start with you can paint pictures with words that I can't - your descriptions above are gorgeous.
I think that mostly you just can't see yourself. Were you thinking of going back to ceramics? I'd say go for it. I'm far too critical myself, and - thanks to family - hardly do any artwork anymore. And I don't know where I'd be if I'd not abandoned it. My husband is often asking me what I want to do, and I honestly don't know. (I want to do something. I just don't know what.)
But keep trying. And to end on the most sentimental of quotes (because I love Doctor Who):
"Nothing is ever forgotten, not completely. And if something can be remembered, it can come back."
But you can write fiction, which I never could... :)
I'm really not sure at this point about what I want to do. Ideally, when I'm not fighting frustration, the plan is to just see what happens while I'm following the book...
But you can write fiction, which I never could... :) Well you are an amazing photographer. And you can write meta! (Have you thought about studying literature/media of some kind? You have an excellent grasp of how to investigate texts.)
Ideally, when I'm not fighting frustration, the plan is to just see what happens while I'm following the book... That sounds like a pretty sensible plan. I shall be here, cheering you on. :)
