Even though I never want to leave my friends, I think it's more imporant to have experienced something to the max (everything, be it joy or sadness or anger or whatever) than to have half-hearted things that last to eternity. And perhaps it's the fragility of our own mortality that make us treasure our friends, treasure everything. Because it is/they are destructible eventually.
I don't think it's wrong to have a sense of camaradarie just over one interest... it's nice to have more but it's often not. realistic? I bonded with my guidesmates over the sweat and blood we sweat for doing the same thing together, and I think that was enough. Because no one, not even the girl guides from other schools or batches would have gone through what we did, and that is special in itself.
Take care and try to get some sleep k? I learnt the easiest way to get sugar intake is to drink fruit juice or milk. On hindsight your hot chocolate wasn't very hot =/
