I used to do that all the time, they have the comfiest chairs at borders. I'm so excited for you and your maybe going to Japan and all. Definitely consider it, I mean it's kind of like study abroad, which is supposed to be way worth it. How is Japanese going? A couple of my friends from down here are taking it next semester (they think) and trying to get me to do the same, but I'm not sure how it would go in my major and all... is it very very hard? Because as you know I'm kind of language challenged.

well, it can be hard depending on how your school offers it. The U of M has it as a 6 credit course, so you can tell that its very intensive here. But actually, I am not having too much trouble with it at all. But I can study it easily because I'm very interested in it. If you aren't interested in it, I wouldn't take it, because I would assume that they are going to want you to learn both katakana and hirigana very quickly, and those are hard to study if you don't really care.
