[Maia's been spending the past little while reading some books in the library. She's wearing something far more casual in comparison to her standard armour and helmet, although she still has her gloves on. [Anna is actually already in the library - she spends a lot of her free time in there either reading or letting her hands fly across the piano keys, providing soft music for those within.

Currently, the soft strains of Bach are audible, and Anna's eyes are closed. DO YOU APPROACH?]

[Maia's been enjoying the soft music that Anna's playing; it serves for good ambiance, if nothing else. She absently taps her fingers against the open book before quickly closing it and getting out of her seat. The music is pleasant - why not offer the musician a compliment?

Maia may not be the most pleasant of people, but she can be kind enough when she wants to be.

She pauses once she spots just who was playing, however.]

Anna. I wasn't aware that you could play so well.

[True, she had heard Anna's announcement the other week, but she hadn't bothered with attending her little recital.]

[She doesn't stop when she hears someone approach - ever since the recital, Anna's confidence has been mildly boosted. Playing and singing in front of people...it's not so bad, after all.]

Oui, I have been playing since I was very little.

[Her hands swap into something a little slower and more melancholy.]

[Maia closes her eyes, content to just listen for the time being. Really, it's a beautiful melody. Lovely, dark, and if one bothers to listen close enough, maybe just a bit twisted. It reminds Maia of herself, in a way - perhaps that's why she seems to enjoy it so much.

She's a vain little thing, isn't she?]

I see.

Well, practice does make perfect, after all.
