It's been a week since I've written in here, apparently. I got tired of drawing diagrams to explain my point in French, so I stopped trying. Luckily, I could still understand English and a bunch of Ravenclaws were only too eager to follow me around and translate. I had no idea that Malfoy was a French name.

I think it was because I ate a croissant ( Read more... )

You don't start speaking French from eating -- Potter, you utter imbecile, never speak to me again.

What did I just -- no.

Go away until you learn the meaning of common sense. I realize this could probably mean forever.

Really, punishment like that isn't called for. We're doing the best we can!

English or French, no one understands you half the time anyway and we hardly ever listen to that big, fat mouth anyway.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Malfoy here, Harry. The chances that the bread caused you to start speaking french is very slim. Even if it had some sort of spell or potion place in it, it wouldn't have gotten passed the house elves who always check the food before sending it up to the Great Hall.

But people still slip things in drinks and those work! I mean, what else could it be?

I don't know, Harry, I really don't know. The good thing is that you're back to normal now. With a bit of work, we can find out what caused this to happen.

Alright. What about I go play Quidditch, and you do that, then?
