41 cm!

Dec 16, 2005 23:02

So it looks like we actually got 41 cm of snow today! Some of the cars on our street are buried. I haven't actually been outside today... too busy trying to study... but tomorrow I'm going on an excursion up Mont Royal to check out the skating on Lac au Castor. And if the skating's not great I can always just wander up to the chalet and look ( Read more... )

It hasn't been cold enough for enough consecutive days for the canal to freeze, I don't think. It has been beautiful outside, though, temperature-wise. It must be slightly frozen because they've been warning people not to walk on it. But not solid yet. :(. Soon, I hope.

Readings are my life. But that's not entirely a bad thing.

I'd be up for doing something on Wednesday... Last exam Tuesday! Yay!

Good luck to you!

Yeah I'm rolling into town at about 5 on Wednesday... so I don't know if I actually have much time that day, just every other day... and I think Ariane and I are going shopping on Thursday. You're welcome to join us or meet us after for some non-shopping stuff!

Ideas: cookie-baking (remember last year?), tobogganing, general sitting around and/or playing in the snow, or doing something near Rideau on Thursday since that's where we'll be

I think we may have to keep up the tradition and have brunch at Dunn's at some point too... I've been to Dunn's way more since leaving Lisgar than I ever went before.

Good luck on the last exam! I'm done on Tuesday too!

yeah, I should be free on Thursday etc, too. :D I remember cookie baking. That was random and fun!

That's true about Dunn's... I hardly ever went while I was at Lisgar. Ha.

Anyway, let me know what you're doing and perhaps I'll tag along. Although it'd probably be good if I didn't go shopping haha because I tend to spoil the Christmas mood with my bitching in malls. So perhpas something after. :)

Tracy! You're alive!!! It's been way too long. Ummm... so I don't repeat everything I just said to Leah, take a look at the reply up above... I've got lots of shopping to do so if you want to go another time, let me know!

As for movies, here are some of the ones I'd like to see... I don't know if all of them are out yet: Walk the Line, Narnia, The Family Stone, Rent, King Kong, Tristan & Isolde, Casanova. Anything sound good to you?

See you soon! I'm so jealous that you're done exams... I've still got 2.

I may or may not be good with Thursday -- will let you know! But if you've got any shopping needs after that definitely let me know. Or even after Christmas shopping works too ;) Dunns also sounds fabulous. I'm kinda excited to see Confederation park again, all lit up with lights!

Walk the Line, Rent, and Tristan and Isolde all sound like fun...I can't wait for you girls to be back in Ottawa! Good luck with that last exam tomorrow!
