When making a soup that contains both whole green chilis and French beans, do not, repeat NOT cut the beans to the same length as the chilis.

My hands instinctively flew to my mouth at the thought. Chomp on one - spend the next quarter-hour trying to wash the sting away with gallons of water and eventually by brushing my teeth. OW!
