As one can tell by the date of my last post, I am somewhat lax in keeping this page updated. (that is possibly an understatement ...lol

A post from Solo!! I'm no writer either, my life is pretty boring and if you read my very first post, it's quite similar to what you just said :) but the more you post, the easier it becomes. It's your journal so post about anything you want! Bitch, rant, squee, celebrate, contemplate, etc. It's all good.
When I go see a doctor -- any doctor whether it's in the hospital or in an office -- I always bring a book with me. ALWAYS.
Like shing said, don't sweat the witty interestingness. I spent quite awhile convinced writing publicly meant I had to polish each entry into a gleaming gem of Relevance and Logic...well, you can see what that's deteriorated into! Just do whatever feels comfy; maybe pick a favourite book, movie etc and just appreciate it a lot. Chances are if you're interested others will be too.
As for the doctor's appointment thing...I can sympathise with that, too. Taking stuff out on people who can't help your situation = not fun for anybody concerned. I s'pose it's the inherent freakiness of being in a hospital that gets to some folks (Shoemom for instance switches to 'Get me outta here!!' mode the instant she even contemplates a trip).
