So, most of 2006 and 2007 were tough years for my family and I.  My Mum had been ill for most of this time and  passed away in July 2007 - two days after my sister's wedding..   I made 4 trips back to the UK (only one of which was planned) and seemed to spend enormous amounts of time on the phone feeling pretty useless.

Oh, Solo love, I know - that is, I don't know...but I have a pretty good idea. It's wonderful that you have so many ways of remembering her; and yeah, sometimes the slightest are the absolute best.

Thanks Shoe - I am fortunate that I do have a wonderful store of happy family memories and most days are okay. It's just weird how sometimes an ordinary item can set you off.
