The creature tried to spit in his face. Failed, but tried nonetheless. The blade struck the creature's temple scarring it horribly. The Akuma let out a roar or rage and attempted to claw at the man. A useless gesture. Lightning had damaged the nerves making it spasm and twitch and, in general, be a wretched mess. The Exorcist didn't even have to move to avoid the strike, but he stabbed the monster in the face again to make a point.

"Where did you get this? Answer me." In his off hand he held a small, glowing object. It looked tiny, delicate at first glance, but Innocence was always a bit deceiving even in its raw form. The Akuma glowered at him again through its one remaining good eye. Hissing.

"Master Noah... Master Noah asked us to..."

"To see if burying it and adding a touch of water and sunlight would make it grow. And old wives' tale, but I must admit so are most of the stories surrounding those soon to be weapons. Ghost towns. Specters. Wouldn't you agree?" A tall map wearing more formal wear than the weather dictated strode over in the direction of the Exorcist and the expiring Akuma. He had his hand in his pockets and brim of the hat casted a shadow on his face. "And to whom do I owe this little distraction?"

The Exorcist curled his lip. He'd seen the Akuma and saw what it was holding. Gone after it almost out of reflex. This place was too new to him. Too foreign. Needed to keep alert. Keep aware. But seeing his own face gray like ash made his heart skip a beat. Older memories from his past? Memories that weren't even his? He didn't know, but it unnerved him. He didn't respond verbally to the inquiry as he simply ended the Akuma's life. It faded to dust and the remains of the storm he summoned scattered it across the ground.

"A pity. That was one of the only few that could actually remember to add soap when washing the laundry." The older man tipped his hat back eyes flashing red for a moment before settling on gold. "But you have something of mine. I'd like it back." He didn't hold out a hand for it. He simply stopped moving forward as he used the action of tilting that hat to remove it completely from his head holding it lightly in his right hand.

The Exorcist, Mikk, managed to hold both blades out while keeping a hold of the Innocence. He cocked a grin as he stared down the other man with no warmth in his eyes. "Since when was this your property?"

The Noah let the top hat fall from his fingers as he adjusted the cuff of his jacket. A grin splayed across his face as well. Normally, he'd banter at least a bit back and forth, but this was hardly normal times. He'd been wanting to kill one of his versions for a while. And with each new one he found, with each encounter with them, he found this feeling only continued to boil. Well, and it had been a while since he had a little fun. Might as well teach the new one some manners.

The Exorcist couldn't hold back a sharp cry as he felt his shoulder get dislocated. Face pressed into the dirt with knees in his back, he couldn't really look back and scowl at the other man. From the corner of his vision he could see his weapons and the Innocence he had killed the Akuma for far out of his grasp lying on the ground. He heard soft but cruel laughter above him, but then the weight was lifted from his back. He moved quickly drawing his injured arm to him. The Noah reached down and picked up the Innocence, and the Exorcist swore he could almost here the object hiss in response. However, If it burns his skin or hurts to hold in any way, Tyki doesn't show it. He tossed the object up into the air once and catches it like a coin.

"My, my, I missed your first welcoming party. And do believe me when I say I tend to be a better host on first acquaintance, but I'm afraid I haven't the time at the moment."

Mikk reached for his a weapon in his good hand, but the other is already moving away dipping down for his hat before placing both hands back in his pockets as if the altercation didn't happen at all.

"I'll give you a warning or two. Don't anger the sphinx. If you don't grow it yourself, I would hardly eat it. The sun never sets in the west..."

The Noah turned to look over his shoulder.

"... and welcome to Hell. I do hope you enjoy your time here."
