History
Some undetermined time in the canon that is D.gray-man (to allow to retcon as needed), the Order attacked the Kamelot mansion.  Tyki slew Timothy before watching Road melt.  Later he was confronted by the trio of Krory, Lavi, and Marie.  He was burned across one side of his face by Lavi's hammer before retreating.  He met up with the Earl who gave him Relo, and said something cryptic about choosing and sharing before wandering back off into the fight. He didn't follow, but went to go find the other Noah.  Further injury prevented him from rejoining until he met up with Allen Walker, who was in fact trying to pull as many people out of the burning building as possible.  After getting his almost dead carcass dragged out, Allen went back in to get more survivors. But he was beheaded by Crow before he made it back in the building. Tyki left Timpcampy there with his headless master before heading out into the woods.

How much time actually passed while Tyki realized, reconciled, and was able to function with the memories in his head.  It could have been days.  It could have been decades.  Tyki isn't one to pay attention to 'year' on papers and newspapers, but only the month and date.  He may or may not be aware of how much time had passed.

When Tyki was able to make sense of the world again, he had a pounding headache and a bunch of new memories in his head.  He woke up in a hospital outside some small town.  He stayed there for a time until some advances on one of the maid's angered another worker, and he was released early.  Maybe he thought she was as lovely as he said.  Or maybe he decided the hospital walls were not his liking.

He wandered about the world landing odd jobs everywhere.  Everything from manual labor to even a banker thought the latter didn't last long.  He stayed mostly in Europe and even found a nice little shop in Italy.  He lost the Ark having put it somewhere, but not recalling where he had left it.  He looked for it for a while, but was never able to locate it.  He found a few Akuma or two, but didn't keep track of them.  Having no real way to strike back at the Order, he went into more or less and wandering state enjoying retirement and enjoying the perpetual life of a traveling jack of all trades.  The memories in his head remained like ghost or visions on the edge of eye sight.  They would speak to him, but he could never interact with them save for Joyd and Lustul whom he became very close with.

During his travels he met a young woman he grew very, very fond of.  He stayed there longer than anyone else and was actually engaged to her.  However, the days leading up to the wedding his disappeared and never returned.  Settling down and being married did not sit well with him.  Maybe it was the loss of wandering or maybe it was because he felt he was letting down what he still called his Family.

Enter the Dressing Room

Tyki arrived sleeping on a bench and was greeted by a variety of people.  The most memorable was Road as she was more real than he ever remembered her being.  He considered the canon Noah figments of his imagination.  Anyone who he saw that wasn't a canon Noah, he deemed as wannabes and fakes.  Though, most Noah, even the the canon ones, would eventually fall into this category.  The Exorcists he assumed had forgotten him over time as they either didn't mind his presence or seemed not to care that he was a Noah.

The notable people he met at first were Allison, the person who he deemed to pay his debt to Allen Walker to for saving his life along with Pumpkin (a Lulubell who fell in love with Lenalee), and a Noah Allen.  What he actually thought of these people is unknown as he denied that this place was a 'world beyond' or any world 'but his own.'  The people that flooded in and out where curiosities to be sure, but the fact that they all got transported to a new world seemed unfathomable and preposterous.

He would also eventually meet the Countess who he thought was the ring leader of the wannabe and fake Noah.  They didn't get along at the start.  He also met an Exorcist version of himself which would become his White Side or viewed him as such (see case_card TL;DR in journal for more info).  For amusement (as his main motivational driver), he found a spare Exorcist coat and tried to parade as one.  This was found out quickly as he knows next to nothing about the inner workings of the Black Order, but a very nice Lenalee hand tailored a coat for him out of the deal.

The wannabe Noah started getting on his nerves, so he decided to take out their ring leader.  In other words, he sawed off the end of a shotgun and handed it to anyone who would do the task with just an ask.  No one was foolish enough to take up the task, but he met Road during this time.  She would become one, if not his greatest, ally and make him remember again all the good things that come with being a Noah.  During this time, a normal human named Junior was appointed as the appropriate holder of Tyki's Memory of Dreams.  It moved over to him.

A killing spree started by a Noah Daisya. He and Alex went to go deal with Noah Daisya.  Tyki, still not convinced this world was not his own, didn't want a Noah witch hunt from a wannabe.  While they summoned a Skin Walker, the plan didn't work as well as they had thought and they were forced to abandon without a dead Daisya.  Though, this event would allow him to learn that people do come back from the dead.  He left his poker deck on casecard's coat and wandered off.  Next he saw him, he was truly revived and with that deck.  Though, the man wouldn't give them back.  His ideas about 'Backwaterville' as he had named it changed.  He began to believe it was truly a crossroad of worlds.

Junior (with his Memory of Dreams) began to fall deeper and deeper into insanity.  He no longer ate and hid away in his dream world.  He took him to Pumpkin as she had skills in alchemy and other abilities.  She tried to suppress his Noah.  Tyki still laments that this love of his life (Lulubell) was a lesbian.  Terrible tragedy really.  She had the most marvelous skills.

He got sprinted away to the Islands and spent his time there not so differently than in the one building of the DR.  He killed a Lavi or two, played a game of tag with Road, and generally just had a good time on the beach.  However, he did meet Miranda there.  A woman who he would come to appreciate very, very much.  Though, Junior still continued to spiral out of control killing people at every turn.  Road finally put him to rest locked away in the Dream world for him to live out the rest of eternity. Tyki to this day thinks she killed him.

He returned back to the DR in the midst of a family gathering with such awful uniforms.  He met knew faces, but still believed most of the Noah were wannabe and fakes and generally still not getting along with them.  Though, he and Road went on a kill Exorcist spree in honor of the Countess' wishes.  Why not cause trouble if one was asked?  He also had a very long heart to heart with his Exorcist half and told him more about himself than he has to anyone else.  The man seems to have become his shoulder eternally aggravated angel.

He tried to harness more of the Memories inside him, but that ended up in failure.  He blew up a courtyard trying to use the Earl's power.  He decided not to try again.  However, the explosion did kill another Road's dog to which the DR made him wash dishes as was her requested punishment for him.  Silly other worlds and their way of making him keep his word.

Now that he knew Exorcists and Noah were the real deal, he found it quite disheartening that they lived next to each other in relative coexistence.  Hevelska had died, killed by the Countess.  He tried to start a rumor that the Countess had killed her for some nefarious plot that never got off the ground.  So he decided to take it into his own hands and get Road a nice late Christmas gift.  He kidnapped just about anyone who he could get his hands on: Exorcists, regular people, and Noah alike leaving a trail to the South Wing waiting for people to come.  And oh, did they.  They came and reclaimed the hostages.  He made a pact with Cardio that he claimed Alex and the other Tyki claimed Allison and whomever lost owed the beer.  Sadly, Cardio died in the fight.  He was going to go confront the Countess (whom he had actually gotten into battle with some time back), but was intercepted when Allison turned him into a cat, Miranda made him age eight and left him to stew for a while, and Alex nearly killed him and cursed him to not find cigarettes.  Truly an exciting time.  As a cat, however, he did get to pester Cardio for some wine after revival.

Later he would find Cardio without his Noah in a hospital wing.  He kept his chart with some names written on it trying to figure out the best way to get it back, but before he could put any plan back into motion the man was fighting wild and angry ducks.  He assumed the place had given it back to him.  The truth however, was that Road mercy killed the other Tyki.  A fact that would anger him should he ever learn.  Though, his fun-o-meter maxed out, he tried looking for poker buddies.  Pointing a gun and having people call his bluff may not have been the most conventional way, but hey, it was entertaining.  Shortly after, he was shoved into rainbow cake again by Lulubell and spent some time as a cat again.

He found a Kanda who was an archangel who gave him an idea that he could leave if enough people would pray to a god.  He also learned of the Doctor's time machine. He had plans on sending the Exorcist version of himself home as the man was rather unhappy being here.  He himself had no concrete goals until he met Cardio (who seems to always get him into some sort of trouble) one night on the beach.  He was about to fall asleep when the other man asked a question.  If he could go anywhere, to any world, where would it be.  It gave him pause and the two made a pact to leave this place to a world of their choosing with all their memories in tact.  This has been his stretch goal for quite some time.

First things first, he learned from a Crow Lavi how to use seals.  Though, the positive achievements and headway he was making was short cut but his adventure in the horror hall.  Again, he was met up with the other version of himself.  Cardio and him survived sweltering heat, ice monsters, and sirens.  Cardio got a sacrificial knife out of the deal along with a concussion.  Solo got rearranged broken ribs that the other Tyki set himself by phasing through his skin.  They both nearly died to a not!Road shadow until Tyki unleashed the Earl's power foolishly at it.  His personality was overrided by the Maker's for a while and he doesn't remember what happened during that time.  He wandered around a bit in his white form, face scars and all, until the wounds finally healed.

Come another family dinner.  He had a great time throwing food at other people, but he also got a chance to talk to Road and discuss what happened with Junior.  It gave him a bit of closure on losing the Memory of Dream's forever.  Give or take a few months, however, and he got run over by a bullet train.  Damn those things were fast, and it almost made him late to Road's birthday party to boot.  Revivals took a while.

Road's party was a success all in all.  He played with the shy one, met the one that had a strange scar on her back, but him and his buddy were able to ask Road if she would occupancy them on their exit.  Though, they spinned it as a vacation rather than a ditch the entire Exorcist/Earl war thing.  Not really thinking ahead if she would catch on.

He tried a few things to see if he could exit.  He tried to get Kitchen Knife's god to come out but that failed before the Horror Hall incident.  He had a child from Stork!Tyki that eventually disappeared.  Cute while it lasted.  Got stuck in some dreams where Joyd tried to hit on him and he lost a few memories temporarily that he really tries not to think about.  Then he decided to take a trip down under the DR halls as Allison had mentioned she was able to exit through there.  He took Mother Hen Allen with him and they both ended up falling into the River Styxs and losing their memories.

He wandered around a bit after that.   A nice lady Kanda helped him out and Cardio tried to explain what he was, but he couldn't fathom it.  Enter next version of horror hall with no memories what to speak of.  He traveled through it with Case Card getting some scrapes and bruises before getting stuck it again with Cardio.  They played poker with 'Memory' poker chips.  They came out with all theirs plus a dreams, but were quite shuffled between them.  During the escape, he was given all of the Noah Memories and it awoke something inside him.  He'd determined the Countess to be his own Earl and she had persuaded him to try to work with the all the memories, so he was actively try to.  Not that he remembered this in his current memory loss state. But something inside him told him to access all the Memories at once.  So he did.  He never would have without the assistance of the River Styx Memory Loss.  He became a being that he would only refer to as Noah.  He shoved Cardio out to zombies to act as bait as he warped the dressing room to let them out of the cursed space.  A feat that neither knew was possible.  He left the slightly upset man to deal with his injuries as he wandered off.

Noah then meet a Road who was just recently unsealed.  She was upset and lost and he took her in as his own.  And then Devit went traitor.  That seemed to cause a whole lot of a mess.  He didn't seem to care, but it was affecting those around him.  Though, shortly after he found out that Cardio had been killed by poison when he wasn't looking.  While Noah was only slightly affected by the loss, Tyki would not abide by his best friend being killed.  This allowed him to gain the upper hand and dismiss Noah in a sense, though he still lives on the edge of his mind.  Tyki also covets the chip with Dreams, his missing memory, as his.  It is corrupting him slowly.  He took the man back to his room and waited for his revival.  They had a bit of an argument upon the other man waking, but it seemed Road had a knack for putting them both in their places.

Road was revealed to have killed his friend.  And while he had thought he killed the Akuma accomplice, he petitioned the Countess to let him take care of the traitor.  He did causing a reflex state of panic and fear in her whenever she tried to kill a Noah.  Then he sought out Alex.  He had learned from Allison that he had gone a bit AWOL and had attacked her.  He punched the man in the face when he found him.  Why couldn't his allies be decent people!

Back to finding an exit!  He tried seeing if he could follow an Akuma creation out of the River Styx's but that didn't work so well.  Another bust.  He found his Exorcist buddy had got reincarnated though it seems his old version was haunting him.  So entertaining.  It was like annoying two people for the price of one.  But then he got stuck in a memory hall, while he was trying to have a civil conversation about traitors and how to deal with them.  He lost his temper at some point and attacked CV!Miranda.  The resulting battle ended up her calling and controlling Joyd.  Tyki thought that Joyd would take his side since she was a traitor, but being under the control of Miranda, Joyd snapped Tyki's neck.

He revived very, very bitter about a Memory being the cause of his death.  It irritated him to no end and it still a sure fire way to get him angry.  He's almost attacked Card twice for mentioning it flippantly.  Then come another run in with his buddy and they get stuck in another section of the DR.  A theme for them.  The other is looking for those poker chips like the Dream one he has.  He finds it, but it sucks out all of his negative emotions.  Tyki can't really tell, but knows something is off.  They encounter their shadow or mirror selves in that realm.  He was confronted with himself telling him he had to give up the other and his dream of the 'best vacation of no war ever' as he had a promise a duty to go back to his world and make it right.  They got out, but it seems to be a point of uncertainty for him.  Does he have to go back and take care of his world?  He sought out the Countess to speak to her about it is his very vague terms.

He also ran into his Exorcist version again.  He convinced him to help him look up how to create Innocence.  If scientist can do it, why can't they?  He found an old lab with equipment and a manual and took it to the Countess.  Though, he had a bit of a fight with the injured Exorcist and knows he pushed to far, but he can't feel terribly bad about it.  He left before it could escalate out of hand.

Noah Memories
The various Memories in his head have all carved out a nice residence.  They've carved out a little niche that resembles a busy intersection with a cobble stone street.  While what flows on the street are people and horse drawn carriages, above is a blinking modern traffic light.  It controls the traffic of people to and from.  It's always noisy, cluttered.  Tyki's own personality also has an image in this space.

  • Location: One street corner.   Usually playing with a blank deck of cards with Tyki.
  • Most treasured out of all the Memories.  Joyd was his to begin with.  Of all the memories, this one goes best with his personality.  It represents his desire to have everything, take what isn't his, and just enjoy life no matter the strings people try to place down.  It isn't worth doing if one doesn't get a reward or enjoyment out of it.  However, pleasure can come in many forms from women, riches (which actually he cares about very little), killing.  Most of all, though, he wants a reaction.  Any will do mostly, but he does enjoy making people uncomfortable.  But it is usually subtle.  Twisting and manipulating people to get what he wants.

  • An ability he uses from time to time.  Third used after Joyd and Lustul.  Though, he usually ends up creeping himself out when he thinks about it too much.  This Memory represents simply 'taking' what he wants unlike Joyd.  There is no finesse or manipulation.  Brute force is the method and the more there is struggling, the better.  This particular Memory is actually always in conflict with Joyd, and he has to balance it out.  Forcing anyone into a corner.  Pushing beyond limits.  These are all due to this memory.
