Street of Dreams

Each year the girls and I go to a hospital fundraiser - Street of Dreams. This year it was luxury condos (like 2.5 million+ HOA dues of $700/month). I must say I am not a fan of condo living, but it was interesting to see that part of Portland (the Pearl District) and I always like taking photos of the cool details.

I like that one too. It was part of a light fixture in one of the condos....very cool. Another condo had a HUGE antique telescope and I thought of you. :)

You have such a good eye for the striking and unusual! The pictures are lovely. I think those little 'Juliette' balconies are very strange. They're not even wide enough to stand on, so why bother with them? :)

I like them in the sense that they add details to an otherwise boring building front, but yes....why not have something you can at least step out on?

Saw another old building that had balconies with lovely plants, etc....but to get out on them you crawled out a window. I could envision lots of bumps and bruises if i lived there!
