G couldn't get down here today due to the shop not having finished working on his car as promised. I don't blame him for being perturbed...it was hot out and he made sure he was down at the shop on time...then sat there until someone thought to ask to help him. You downsize. I just finished going through some totes in my closet. I have my mother's genes in me...I hang on to old clothes far too long. Some were out of style (but not vintage), others were when I was far more active and a far different size! Salvation Army is going to score big time from me today ( Read more... )

I have been outside after work this week. The heat has required I water more often and of course my weeds are loving that! I've been trying to grab some of the wee-weeds in the front before they take over - a task in itself. And of course if I am working in the front, the back gets neglected...and the weeds make a play for control there. Sheesh ( Read more... )

So I decided to "unmask" my nose for awhile as I was contorting myself for my bath - it's been bandaged up since last Friday (with a couple of new dressings) and frankly I am tired of bandages! Felt good to not have adhesive against my skin, but yes, I knew I had to evntually re-bandage it until Monday ( Read more... )

So the puffy, Kewpie doll look to my face is fading, along with the slight bruising. I went by the doctor's today to take them up on the offer to change the dressing and have the nurse check it. She said it is healing really well....but the dressing she put on was waddy, lumpy and coming off by the time I got home ( Read more... )
