Ok so back in the fall I got a call out of the blue from my brother who owns brio wanting to know if I wanted to tend bar for him this Saturday night. I was shocked and speechless for about a second until I caught on that he wasn't talking about bar tending at the restaurant on the busiest night of the week when I'd never done it before. Sounds like it's pretty stressful, but it's actually the kindo of stressful that can be dealt with -- and already you have it well in hand. It is a very hard thing to learn to be a boss and tell others what to do. Many of us are born to serve, and we hate to make other people do our work -- but that is what leading is all about, and delegating is very, very important. Even Moses had to delegate his work, so he wouldn't get worn out (Exodus 18:16-18).
