this was the last song i put up. i was gonna use american boy because it had london (2012) in it but then it didn't really fit. and of course how vain can you get with this song.

ramblings
So I started this back in last August then the Summer Olympics was still around. It kicked around in my laptop for ages - even my cousin saw the folder and said "Michael Phelps?". And then I made a new new folder called Projects, threw this fanmix in there, and now it's finally done after just making two new covers (and resizing from 500x500 to 400x400, which became the norm after a year & did you see how perfectly their names fit on the cover?!) and lol-ing over the fug one that I made for You're So Vain originally. Which prompted jehnt posting this picture of paperbagged Phelps. And the post that turned into Phelps would or would not fit in with the Recon Marines.
Oh yeah! I forgot my Lil Wayne story. I originally had Lollipop (this is the only song I know of him, lol) as part of the mix, because duh I needed a Lil Wayne song since it's MP & RL. I re-read the lyrics when I was re-working on this and um, yeah it didn't mix. So I went to those lyric sites and looked at all his songs (thank you onmouseover) and um, they all have the n word or a lot of swear words in them. Of the ONE song I found that didn't have any swear words, it was weird. So sorry, no Weezy for you, trying to keep it clean here.
My future plan to write fic to accompany each song. But of course that's at the bottom of my to-do list.
(I totally staggered the song between vainy/awesome ones and the more, um, mellow-ish ones. Not sure why I put that here. & I really need to stop making fanmix with song covers. I need a life.)
And sorry iliveforthis, you got 2 votes to 1'd for the cover. It was too green/yellow. Thanks secondstar for the quick glance over. How sad it is that I had to scramble to reacquire most of these songs.
