YOU'RE AN ARTIST! Say it proudly! People who look down on us for it are obviously stupid and uneducated, or at the very least, taught wrong! No-one can escape art, art is culture. And if you don't know culture you cannot be properly educated, can you? If you showed them de Vinci's "The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne and Saint John the Babtist" (makes me want to go "Jockonan" :3) they wouldn't turn their noses up, because they're snobs and think dead men are the only ones worth praising for genius, when genius is passing them by. And right under their noses too...fools, any who don't apprieciate art! Say it proudly, you're ubove them all. You use your mind as a tool for the abstract and for the expression of the world and it's beautiful and most definatly something to feel superior for...not that I'm an elitest bastard or anything *waves hand*
Heehee *hug* all good arguments Why i should, thiough, ive never wanted to call myself an artist XD as ive never liked stuff i do enough to be happy with it in the long run ^^;
And on a side note, I don't think you should quit art. I loved what you did very much. X3 And art is so rewarding, I'd definately stick with it if I were as good as you. :D As for being a visual researcher, I'm not at all sure what that means. It sounds as if you'd be the person to create a new type of art noone has ever done. That would be awesome, if you ever figure one out, tell me. :)
