Other than that.. Spring break has been good so far, and will be very good. Norma Jean now has their own bar-b-q sauce. AND I'm going to a party Monday. Yay for seeing old friends.

A lot of people have been pissing me off lately with this whole shit about "it's so cool to be an atheist just cause it's against the norm!" or just dissing Christians as ignorant people. We're not all idiots, and it's pissing me off that people can't be open-minded, especially some of these people who are preaching tolerance and open-mindedness.

Amen to that. I may shudder sometimes at the Christian label, because of all the terrible atrocities perpetrated in the name of God, but I'll still claim it, even though I reside on the most blasphemous and heretical fringe of it, and many Christians would condemn me to Hell for my beliefs. Personally, I think the Bible is at least half-full of utter crap, and missing more than a few books, but the words in red are really all that matter, anyway.

Just because bad things are done in the name of Christ doesn't make Christ bad, or all Christians hypocrites or morons. The extremely vocal minority of Christian zealots and hypocrites is just that- a minority. Most of the rest are nice enough- they just try to live a good life and help others, like Jesus did. But then I'm preaching to the choir, or their bass player, anyway.

I for one am weary of Holy Wars- let's all just get along, OK? Or at least agree to disagree. Hate is such a waste of energy. In the immortal words of The Minutemen, maybe partying will help.
