I know what you mean. It feels weird for me that I'm not in school right now. And that I can actually work a full time job without quitting come August. Like you, I'm ready for a change. That's hard to fight, isn't it?

Good luck with your novel and the job hunting. If you're not happy at your job, then u should find somewhere else. It's a great feeling waking up in the morning, and realize you can't wait to get to work.
