Friends and Faces

One of the things I love about living in a small town like Solvang is that no matter where or when I go out, I'm always bound to run into someone I know. It's like living among friends. Of course, my husband probably has a completely different opinion on this.

Oh, this is so funny. I can give you the argument from the other side of the gender question. My parents had a veterinary clinic in our small town for 30 years, for the first 10-15 they were the only small animal practice in the bottom half of the county, so if you had a dog or a cat (or a snake or turtle!), you knew them. Just like you, we couldn't go out without seeing someone they knew. Okay, so it is just my family!

Your town sounds like ours. I just ran into the dog groomer at Rite Aid this afternoon and the vet dropped her son off at my house an hour ago :)
