OMG THAT'S TOTALLY AWESOME AND I DON'T CARE I HAVE ABUSED THAT WORD WAY TOO OFTEN BY NOW. BECAUSE IT IS. It really looks like you guys went back in time, if you think away the cars, the fire extinguisher and all the non-touching plates. Great to read and see you had a great time ^_^ (You gotta love French for actually putting the price on a ticket when it's free entrance though XD Sorry, couldn't help LOLing at that. And whoa, trains really love Utrecht don't they.)
I LOVE the lightening shots by the way, no matter how scared I am of lightening - think you could post the video somewhere?
THANKS AND YES IT TOTALLY IS I ADORE IT BEYOND WORDS! Yes, you're totally right! It was an interesting mix, really ;) (Yep, that amused me too! *g* And it was not Utrecht where the problems were, it was Amsterdam.)
Thanks. ;) I could probably upload the vid to youtube for you if you really wanna see it. River's got the best lightning though.
It really is a pretty place <3 Would be great to go back there someday!! And thanks for the compliment! <3 I'm glad people appreciate my pictures, after the hours I put into the post!
So my poor, old computer nearly died while loading all these photos, but their prettiness was worth it. I'm very, very impressed by the whole castle, it looks soo fantastic! And the thunder storm must have been amazing, in that scenery... *dreaming*
I was a bit confused when I saw photos of two figures (on the very beginning of your entry) because I was sure that I've seen second of them (I guess that's Joanna d'Arc) once... And now I can recall that I've seen almost identical figure stood in church in Carcassone. It seems that there are very similar ways of portraying Joanna in whole France ;)
I see you're very excited by "Merlin", I think this will be the first series I watch when I will have decent Internet ;)
Oops! I did try to warn people, but there are some odd 70 pictures, so if your internet doesn't like that so much.. oh I'm sorry! But I'm glad you liked the pictures :D The castle's incredible. Really. I'm very happy I got to see it with the set and all. Really awesome. And that thunderstorm was amazing. It's the first I've actually seen. Incredible I tell you. We watched for some 2 hours. I've seen some pretty things.. some of the best things I've ever witnessed. I've always wanted to see a storm, and to have my wish fulfilled like this! Ah, perfect..
Ohh, I think it could be Joanne d'Arc? She's quite the big thing in France (not surprisingly). It didn't say anything though, so I had no clue who she was. I just liked the statue ;) But it'd make sense..
OH DO DO DO DO!!!!!!! Merlin is BRILLIANT and I'm sure you'll fall in love with it as the rest of us and argh I love the whole cast and it's amazing.. ehm yes, you should most definitely watch it! :D
I don't really mind this because pictures are so pretty! Unfortunately I have very slow Internet and old computer in my home *sigh*
You've never seen a thunderstorm before? I have to say I'm quite surprised because thunderstorm is something ordinary (but still beautiful of course) for me and I'm surprised how weather things can differ in various countries...
It's a guess that this is figure og Joanna, but as I said - I've seen almost identical figure in other city in France which was signed "Joanna d'Arc" :)
I will certainly do it! You know, your enthusiasm is amazing and really encouraging ;)
I know how that feels.. I was trying to show these pics to some family yesterday and ugh, horror! But I'm really glad you liked the pics! :)
You see, it never gets completely dark here, and from none of the windows from my house I have a good view.. so there are loads of thunderstorms, but I've never been able to actually watch them.. it's too light here, and I can't look all that far.. whereas in Pierrefonds, it was dark, and I could look for miles and oh, it was so pretty..
Haha, Merlin has been called the 'gayest thing on television', which is hilarious, since there's nothing actually going on, but there's the eye-sex and omg, it's good. I love Colin and Bradley. xD And the script is really witty too, despite all the faults. I love it. [A word of advice: don't mind the graphics. They're not all they could be, but the series is still fun!] Oh, and did I mention that Katie McGrath (Morgana) is one of the prettiest people ever? *faint* Gosh I love that woman!
Oh, how impressive! It must have been absolutely even more amazing in real life! I am especially fond of the castles and the statues from the Dom/church. And I like how to you it wasn't just a castle, but THE CASTLE of a series you love so much! I am glad you had such a great time!
Oh it is! It's impressive like WHOA. Incredible. Haven't seen a castle like it before :D It is indeed THE castle ;) I love it so much, and not just because of Merlin, but it certainly helps :D And thanks, I'm glad too!!

(Haha, I meant trains don't want to go to Utrecht (as you missed one by two minutes), but I guess I don't make sense in the early morning.)
Haha I'll be patient, thanks!!
