i bought the new Interpol album, and it's quite the bitchin' little number. also, i have not yet heard the new Mars Volta single, which is weird, because they are as important as any other extension of myself. still, i am planning on that Mars Volta tattoo... and the new album comes out on March 1st ( Read more... )

On a recent roadtrip "down south" (Eugene) all I heard on the damn radio was the Interpol song that goes "Rosemary... heaven restores you in life..." And I thought about you EVERY SINGLE TIME. So I thought about you during my five hour drive - 8 times!!!

isn't that song weird? every time i hear it, honestly, i think that some freak-from-beyond is calling my name!! Livia laughs every time it comes on, but i just get creeped out. usually i just skip that one on the record.

Happy Pre-emptive birthday!
The chapel is unfortunately not as gothic as the name would imply, it's more like trying to be a sleek designed dark bar with good dim lighting a la the likes of LA or west village/chelsea manhattan. But it's still pretty cute, just don't be dissapointed if you hope for goth. It more just has a faint smell of goth in the design.
I haven't been to the baltic room before though, I hope it's fun.
I think I over elaborated, but I do enjoy bars. Perhaps one day I'll open one.

thank you, thank you. i figured that the Chapel might not be too goth, other than the original structure it existed in. i am not really into the goth scene, though my new love is into the most desperately raw and dark scenes there are... (ex: she carries a switchblade to peel fruit, and well, you saw, she wears a gas mask.) anyway, i wish you could be here to celebrate my birthday too, with Jace-Pace and everyone. i really enjoyed seeing you at the Atomic Party. i am so happy that you got to talk to Noa's mother for so long-- she is a sweet dream.
