Your writing is, of course, impeccable. Your venom is sweating out of you. The period you describe is one of which I only caught the occasional eyeful, as preoccupied as I was with school and Gary and India and my stupid crush on Jace-Pace. How silly was I? Here you were tackling the misery of the world and realizing who you were in the process and I was listening to Roxette and eating at Taco Bell. Hehe.

Yes, we are definitely going to do a lot this summer, before you fly off to New Mexico to begin the rest of your life. I will be sad to lose (geographically speaking) one of the most important people in this crazy life I lead. The throbbing center, the ultimate reference, the barometer of all that is hot.
