valliegurl requested a tutorial for
this icon, so here it is :)
This was a tutorial by
redlighttt, but I edited it quite a bit.
1. Start off with your base, of course. Add a new colour layer #93CCD2 and set to colour burn at 48%
2. Add another colour layer of #FFA09E and set it to overlay at 13%
3. Add another colour layer of #07061C and set to exclusion at 100%
4. Add a selective colour layer and use these settings:
Reds
-95, +74, +59, -6
Yellows
+49, -60, -34, +7
Neutrals
+1, -11, 0, -13
5. And another selective colour layer:
Reds
+22, +15, +3, +24
Yellows
+20, +9, -7, -10
Whites
0, 0, +1, -6
Neutrals
-2, 0, +1, 0
6. And another selective colour layer using the same settings as in the one before.
7. Then add a colour balance layer using these settings:
Midtones
-20, -14, -19
Highlights
+10, +3, +3
Shadows
+6, -16, -11
8. And then just one more selective colour layer:
Reds
-21, +5, +9, 0
Neutrals
+20, -5, -11, 0
And that's really all there is to it. You can download the PSD
here.
