So! Affected characters lose any supernatural abilities. Check. However, what about things like Lloyd's Exsphere? Will that even still be on his hand? Or will it disappear?

Affected characters will take on 'new identities,' so to speak, during their time in AU adventure land. For the most part, any old possessions from their previous existence will be refashioned as something they would know in their 1920s verse. If it doesn't fit in anywhere or you can't skew it very well, it can be eliminated for a brief time.

--THAT SAID can I have some information on Lloyd's Exsphere? I'm not very familiar with the Tales of canon so anything you can provide would be awesome.

Exspheres are a kind of gem that can be mined from the earth in the Tales of Symphonia universe. When attached to a person, they can grant extra strength and certain mana-related abilities, but without a mount or crest made of inhibitor ore and carved with dwarven runes, a Key Crest, the Exsphere will slowly make the person sicken and die, even absorbing their soul. Removing an Exsphere that has been directly attached without a Key Crest will cause a person's mana to go out of control, turning them into a monster called an Exbelua.

Lloyd's Exsphere is the same one that was cultivated on his mother during an experiment called the Angelus Project, which was intended to make a Cruxis Crystal (an advanced form of Exsphere) inside a human host. His Exsphere is attached with a Key Crest, so removing it is possible without him turning into a monster ( ... )

When you say, "Nightmares and her minions"... "her"?

Is "Nightmares" a person, or are you calling it that like you would a boat?

The Nightmaress leads all things Nightmares. We have not expanded on her terribly much throughout the course of this RP's plots yet, but you'll recognize her as the mysterious black-haired woman that tends to show up during New Moon events.

I see... [Notes this down, definitely not for any nefarious, Eas-related purposes in the future.]

Soo.... Because the characters no longer have their powers, does this mean that Tsuna no longer has Hyper Intuition? since it was something he was born with, but i'm not sure if it counts as a power or not. ^^;;

I'm cool with him no longer having the ability to use his dying will flames, but i'm not sure how the Hyper Intuition falls into the category.

Also.. what about his pet Natsu? natsu is a weapon that lives in a ring form most of the time unless Tsuna needs him. Should Natsu just be a normal pet for the Au event and no longer be able to be a weapon?

Just trying to iron out details is all. ^^;;

He won't be able to use Hyper Intuition to a MAGICAL extent, but he can still have an excellent intuition within the realm of human possibility. Interpret that as you'd like!

His pet can either be a real pet or just a ring. He will not have access to Natsu as a weapon.

do the fashion changes necesarily have to be to AMERICAN 1920s fashion? What if you want, say, British 1920s fashion?

Another question!

Are there any mod plots planned for this event? Special events that will happen during the 1920s phase?

At the moment we don't have anything specific planned. This is mostly because it looks like there's going to be a lot of player plots that could potentially explode into something huge, so we wouldn't want to mess up anything there. But we may throw in something more subtly that players could use to their advantage!

Question martyrofbread April 23 2011, 01:45:59 UTC
So, I was curious.

The time changed to the 1920's, right? So, if a creature like Kirby pops up somewhere in the middle of town, will people react to him badly, like thinking he's monster or something, like normal 20's people would, or they will be OK with it, since this is Somarium after all? Just wondering (so then I can make his interaction with other people more accurately XD)
