Twilight doesn't mind all these humans wandering around; she's still getting used to creatures with two legs, after all. But she's quite comfortable in the library now; books make her happy and she can read at any hour of the day or night.

Currently, she's working on putting books away - she does wish these young foals would put things back after they're done using them! Books floating before her in a cloud of unicorn magic, she trots around the corner and very nearly steps on the human there on the floor.

"Oh!" she exclaims, surprised. "I'm sorry!" A nervous laugh. "I'm afraid I didn't see you there."

Bloody hell suddenly there's a unicorn who nearly runs over him.

Leo almost jumps at that, almost moves away, but the creature stops before he has to and so he just darts his gaze up to look for a moment. He has seen unicorns on the Dreamberry, so nothing new there, but... seeing them in person?

Curious...

"It's alright."

[ohsological]

Well, this one didn't freak out or pepper her with questions, so Twlight smiles again and goes about her book shelving, utilizing magic to reach the higher shelves far above her head. She hums under her breath as she works, finally getting all the tomes in their correct spots.

"There!" Before she goes back to the main room, however, she turns and asks, "Um...did you find everything you were looking for?"

The humming is a little obnoxious, but Leo can ignore it well enough. It's hardly as bad as Elliot's yelling, after all.

He actually glances up as she talks. "Yes," he says, simply, tilts his head a little. "Do you work here?"

Since she apparently makes sure things are in order...

"I do," Twilight replied brightly with a toss of her tail. "And live upstairs in the big spare room, too." She loved being here among the books; it was similar to her home back in Canterlot and Ponyville.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, my name is Twilight Sparkle." She laughed a bit nervously. "I'm still not really used to so many people about."

"I'm not really used to seeing unicorns about."

Leo can't really resist the comment, but it's casual and he's smiling and it's actually not meant as mocking. Or, well... maybe a little, but in a completely harmless way. He even chuckles under his breath.

He decides he likes her enough to even bother with contributing to a conversation.

"I'm Leo. I take it you like books?"

"Nice to meet you, Leo. And I do! Very much so. Right now I'm studying about the world here in Somarium, learning about all the different creatures and things."

Twilight chuckled a bit. "My friend Fluttershy is crazy about animals, so I thought it might be good to help her out when she goes off on her wanderings in the forest."

[disruptstatice]

"Mmm," Leo responds idly and nods, returning to his book but very much still paying attention to Twilight; he's used to reading and talking at the same time by now. "I'm surprised by how little there is about Somarium around, really. Makes me wonder..."

[ohsological]

"Mm, I know. I haven't found much, just a few old dusty volumes, but none of them really give any sort of explanation. As to why we're here, I mean." She looks back at the shelves. "There's lots of stuff about the place, descriptions and stuff, but nothing about that."

[disruptstatice]

"Ah, well." He glances over at her, briefly. "That's hardly strange. It would be more surprising if there actually was anything on why."
