[although Kid could vaguely and sometimes sense when a particular soul left or arrived, it really depended on where he was at the time.

however, this particular soul caught his attention almost immediately. it was, in a very simple and understating way, strange. he had encountered numerous unfamiliar and strange types of souls, but this one unsettled him. it was possibly worse than the madness back home.

so needless to say, he quickly set off to find the source of this wavelength, and was quite surprised to find the woman...walking? in the park. she seemed relatively harmless, but his senses screamed otherwise. not dangerous but not...]

[taking a closer look had been a big mistake. the size of her soul was huge-not as large as his father's, but larger than most. it was staggering-in fact it made him stagger a step as a hand flew to his head as if he were suffering a bad headache. in a way he was, and it was all he could do to "de-focus" so that he only felt the wavelength rather than "see" it completely.

[There was someone approaching her rather intently, so she stopped and stared back in what most would consider a rude manner. The boy didn't say much - in fact it wasn't even more than one syllable and Sexy was curious as to what he was doing.

But when he took a step back that's when she knew. Most people wouldn't dare to look into her soul as the power of time and space was too much for anyone to handle - even a Time Lord. She ran her hands over her dress as if to catch the boy's attention away from staring at her soul.]

Really, you shouldn't look at it so closely. It can drive a person mad - among other things.

[Honestly she was curious how he could see her soul while she was tucked away inside this body. Now she's checking herself to see if little gold-ish wisps are escaping her. She can't possibly be breaking through the casing of her human host body.]

[This boy was smart to ask what she was as compared to who. Not many would look at her and think to ask 'what'. Even her own thief had asked who. She did smile at that, rather mischievously.]

I'm a TARDIS - Time and Relative Dimension in Space. I exist across time and space - though it seems to have become less since I arrived. Still, best if you don't look too much.

Oh, she knows what words was coming next and she seems almost offended he was going to use it.] Of course it's possible if you have the right bit of information. Just because it doesn't exist in your universe doesn't make it impossible.

[There that was better. She wasn't offended by his staring or even what most would consider a rude gesture by letting his mouth hang open but some beings were so difficult when it came to believing something was possible.]

At one point there were three hundred and five type-40s and even more TARDISes than that but I'm the last. [A tinge of sadness to her voice.] I am the only one that has been dumped into a human body that's still alive - the rest died off and were eaten.

House - a planetoid entity that feeds off the artron energy my other form uses. He can't just eat the soul because it would punch a hole in the universe so he has to discard it and let it die off in a body it can't fit into.

"He"? And you're a ship? [this was getting more bizarre by the second, and he's realizing he's asking most of the questions here. so he was actually a bit relieved to touch on something he was at least familiar with before diving back into the confusion.]

Soul Perception is a skill that a few from my worlds can use. It allows us to perceive the soul wavelengths of others. Yours was particularly unique and powerful, so I decided to investigate.

[he falters a bit at her last remark. he would have told Maka but...well. she's not. here anymore. again.] Currently I'm the only one who has this particular ability, but there are those who might have similar capabilities. It's disturbing, yes. However it's also rather...interesting. [discovering all these soul signatures and slowly being able to pinpoint them has been an interesting exercise for him, actually.]

Oh yes. It was very exciting!

[She watches him as he seems to be having an internal struggle over something and can only compare it to the times the Doctor has lost a companion.] I'm sorry. [And Sexy won't say for what.] Interesting is always good and if I ever get lost then someone here will be able to find me. Are there others with souls as disturbing as mine or am I the only one?
