Noel had been spending the last few days faithfully staying by Elliot's side, making sure that he got plenty of rest and his needs met. His recovery seemed to be going smoothly, so she thought it would be fine to go outside for once. After all, there were monsters to exterminate, and looters to be chased away.

... Who she saw wasn't someone Noel thought she would see any time soon. That hair, that coat, that sword... There was no mistaking it. Noel had thought that this place had given her enough troubles already, but apparently it wasn't satisfied. She quickly summoned Bolverk into her hands, and took on a defensive position.

"R-Ragna the Bloodedge!" she called out, trying to exert authority and mask her fear. "How dare you show yourself in Somarium again!"

Yep, he pretty much knows the basics now. All that's left for Noel is to shoot him and throw him in a cell. He's a world-renowned criminal, after all. That's what an NOL soldier and Somarium police officer should do. It wouldn't do to have him roaming the streets; Ragna the Bloodedge had a high bounty on his head for a reason.

So... Why did she suddenly start thinking that he may actually be a decent guy? Noel didn't understand. Either way, she couldn't bring herself to attack him. Not just yet. She dismisses Bolverk, and lowers her hands.

"... Actually, since you haven't technically 'done' anything yet, I'll let you go under one condition," Noel really hoped he would listen and not just try to run away. "All you need to do... is answer a few things for me."

After all, it was fair, right? ... Why did she even expect that out of a criminal. Still, a few things have been bothering her, and she felt that Ragna would know something about them.

Truthfully, he doesn't want to deal with any of this right now. But he can't even do a damn thing about it, can he? It really just angers him that he can't go and kick Terumi's ass now. Dammit! The only thing that gives him a tiny peace of mind is the fact that Noel won't go on and start trying to arrest him here. While it is easier for him, sometimes he wonders how someone like her would have ended up with the Library if it weren't for those guns of hers. She's just letting him, the "SS Class Grim Reaper", go for some answers? Well, It's not a terrible trade, so he figured, why not answer the questions she's got. As long as it's nothing too big about him, it's not a big deal. He crossed his arms and gave her a side glance. Making eye contact would just make him walk away right now. That face of hers just... Tch.

"... What do you wanna know?"

Alright. No turning back now, Noel. He was willing to stick around to answer her questions. Honestly, she was surprised that he did that. He better not walk away now, or she'll start shooting at him.

"... Are you really Major Jin Kisaragi's brother?" Noel asked, so innocently that it was blunt. She remembered Ace giving her that piece of information a while back. "Then... D-Do you know why he hates me so much?"

Nothing 'too big' about him? Too bad, he better keep to his words or else. :|

Damn. DamnDamnDamn. Of all questions. His heart just drops once she asks that. He does not want to talk about Jin. Especially not now. He already said he would answer her questions, and he knows he'd probably get shot if he doesn't. Lying is always an option, but at this point there isn't and turning back. Not to mention the wording of the second question could imply she already knows. Shit. He almost mumbles in response to her first question. More to himself than anything. "... I wish the asshole wasn't."

The second he responds to slightly more openly. To a certain extent. "I don't know what he's got against you." he says. This is a half-truth. If it has anything to do with her face, he may have a slight idea. That however, is an even more tender subject for him. By now, any eye contact from him is non-existent.
