[After a few minutes of dragging her double around and listening to her incomprehensible speech malfunctions, Noel had managed to bring the very ill Lambda to the manor. It was the only place she could think of

[Leo isn't someone who's easily shocked, really. He has seen a lot of things, and this world can apparently pull absurd tricks. Though... Walking through the hallways with a book and stumbling upon this? He does get... a little shocked.

Because for a moment he's definitely seeing two Noels, before the differences between them register.

[Noel lets out a startled gasp and quickly turns around to see Leo at the doorway, moving herself to obscure the view of the sleeping Lambda's face. Though she forces a smile, it was easy to tell that she was incredibly nervous and distressed.]

A-Ah, Leo... Hello. I've, um... decided to leave work early today. I found someone who was lost in the village and had a high fever... I couldn't just leave her alone, so... I decided to let her stay here until she's recovered enough to get home on her own.

[Another blink. He can't say he really cares, but seeing Noel react like that only makes him more curious.

He's just going to casually step into the room, half-focusing on his book still.]

[And Noel is inwardly praying to whatever high entity is out there that Leo keeps his nose in that book. Her look of discomfort becomes a bit more defined as he steps into the room. At least the worst of her headaches were over... she didn't want to end up fainting in front of him.]
