I WILL NOT BE A WIMP ANYMORE.atrumrebellisSeptember 27 2011, 02:36:40 UTC
[After finally being out of that damnable Dreamscape, Ragna felt as if he'd had a nightmare of massive proportions. Appropriate considering the world's concept, but irritating nevertheless. He's been simply slammed back and forth with bad luck this month, from the being slammed with a baseball from the sleep coma and then the bad Dreamwalking experience. He didn't want to sleep anymore right now. He found himself taking a walk around Espoir, maybe to find some way of venting his anger.
Unfortunately, the bad occurrences seem to be continuing for him. This simply isn't his month, is it? He ended up approaching the one person he really did not want to see right now. Jin.]
[Maybe if he just keeps walking away. Really, really fast. He won't be noticed.]
BE STRONG! BELIEVE IN ME WHO BELIEVES IN YOU.icebladesSeptember 27 2011, 02:50:17 UTC
[Unfortunately for you Ragna, Jin has already spotted you. His immediate thought is to run at you and engage in some good brotherly violence, but sadly, his body refuses to listen. Stumbling backwards, he stares at his feet in an angry and confused daze. Why now, of all times?]
Brother! BROTHEEEER! Wait!
[A thought occurs to him then. Maybe if he walked backwards, he would actually move forward! Makes plenty of sense, given the current situation. Hastily attempting to run backwards, he found that he could actually run in Ragna's direction, albeit a little awkwardly. Still, it's progress, and Ragna couldn't get away from him now.]
What a coincidence, brother. I didn't expect to see you here.
I WILL BELIEVEEEEEEE!!!atrumrebellisSeptember 27 2011, 02:57:15 UTC
[Damn. He's not for a fight right now, he spent a few freaking days trying to fight off those stupid monsters. He feels completely terrible after finally coming out of that place. Despite the fact that he probably can't handle a fight right now, he's prepared for one.]
[But upon closer inspection of Jin's movements, Ragna can tell that something isn't. Quite right. Of course Jin's pretty fucked up as it is but this is a different kind of fucked up. Mainly Ragna gathered this from the fact that Jin just busted his ass and he looks like he's just all over the place. Either way, he responds in the same dark tone almost always used when he doesn't want to deal with Jin.]
BELIEVE AS HARD AS POSSIBLEEEE!icebladesSeptember 27 2011, 03:13:06 UTC
[You might not want to deal with Jin, but Jin wants to deal with you! Having spent the last few days lamenting over the loss of his sole purpose in life, all Jin wanted to do was leave this place, but he couldn't quite bring himself to believe that death wasn't permanent here. He had to try, at the very least. Still, it was hard to think about much of anything while in this confused state. He couldn't even summon up the strength to whine and bitch about his useless life at the moment.]
I'm happy to see you too, Ragna. Do you know what color it is right now?
[...Color? Why did he say color? He meant to ask Ragna for the time, although that was the least of his concerns right now. Ragna was right here! Why couldn't he just stab him like he wanted to?]
I WILL! :D atrumrebellisSeptember 27 2011, 03:18:51 UTC
[Well, while you were angsting Ragna was fighting for his life. So he wins. And he's not happy to see you, but that much was obvious by his tone and expression. Either way, while Ragna still wasn't letting his guard down for a second, he was completely thrown off by that last comment.]
["What color it is?" seriously? There is something seriously wrong today. And that's saying something because, come on, it's Jin.]
[So long as Ragna acknowledges his existence, that's good enough for Jin. Still, it would be even better if he could kill Ragna right here and now... He's got to try, right?]
Talking about? Did I say something?
[He honestly doesn't know what he said at this point. He's not even sure who he is right now, much less what color/time it is. All that mattered now was Ragna, at it seemed like Jin had his attention for once! He could totally kill him right now, and there would be no one to get in their way. Jin's mind is too foggy to summon Yukianesa right now, but he still has his hands! Raising his right arm in an attempt to hit Ragna, a rather loud crack echoes through the air. It seems Jin has slapped himself instead, leaving a nice hand-shaped mark on his cheek. Ouch.]
[What was going on? Ragna's getting extremely confused by this. The only reason Jin would get Ragna's attention is if they were fighting or if he had something useful to say. Neither of these are the case here, but this is really just to... strange to pass up at least questioning.]
What you said doesn't make sense. Why're you asking me what "color" it is?
[Once Ragna see's Jin about to attack, he reaches for his weapon and prepares to counter but. Then Jin slaps himself. Which earns him an amused yet extremely questioning look from Ragna. His hand is still on his sword and it doesn't move from there. But.]
[Jin gives Ragna a confused and somewhat insulted look. Was this some kind of joke? Jin was pretty sure he hadn't been talking about colors or anything similar. Perhaps Ragna was the confused on here.]
Brother...? Are you feeling alright? What do colors have to do with anything right now?
[This was all terribly, terribly confusing. It seemed like Ragna was prepared to fight, yet he didn't make a move. Perhaps he should be happy for that, as it seems impossible to call out Yukianesa right now. In an attempt to facepalm, Jin reaches out and grabs Ragna's face instead. ...Oops.]
[It's an exchange of utterly confused expressions, it seems. The only difference being Ragna can tell the difference between up and down as opposed to Jin who cannot.]
You're the one that said it, stupid.
[Immediately upon contact, Ragna delivered a sharp punch to Jin's stomach and stepped back, getting into a battle ready stance. No matter how strange the situation, he'll never let his guard down around Jin. He's ready to attack again at a moment's notice.]
[Well, that punch certainly hurt. He winces, falling to his knees. Gazing up at Ragna with a dejected look on his face, Jin attempts to get back on his feet, but ends up falling face first into the grass instead. ...When did the ground get so close?]
B-brother... why?
[Strange... wasn't he usually the one to initiate the fight? With a bit of struggling, Jin manages sit up, staring blankly at Ragna. He raises his arms in a poor attempt to defend himself, just in case Ragna tried to hit him again. Of all the times he could've used Yukianesa, why couldn't he now?]
...Why did you hit me? I just wanted to know... what color it is.
[Ragna kept his stance, even despite knowing something is seriously wrong with Jin. What it was, he wasn't totally sure. It's a strange combination of almost entertaining and bewildering. Moreso the latter than the former.]
[He didn't even chose to acknowledge why he punched Jin, that much should be obvious. He's acting almost like a kid again, though. A kid with a seriously twisted concept of reality. His patience with Jin is wearing rather thin, though.]
What the hell is wrong with you? What does it matter what "color" it is?
[...Again with the colors? What was Ragna talking about? Jin lowers his arms slightly and continues to stare at Ragna, a bit surprised that he didn't try to hit him again. They were supposed to be fighting like always, right?]
You're mistaken, brother... I didn't say anything about colors.
[He huffs a laugh, fully convinced that Ragna is the confused on here. Still, the effects of the card were beginning to lessen... but only slightly. By now, Jin could think clearly enough to notice that something was off, although he couldn't figure out much more than that.]
...That card... brother, did you see a card lying around here?
[He's really getting pissed off now. He's beginning to think staying here is pointless. The only reason he hasn't attacked Jin again is because Jin didn't start attacking him again.]
How are you gonna say you didn't mention colors, I just heard you say it!
[But then he mentions a card. First colors, then mysterious cards? Is he having some sort of hallucination?]
Card? What the hell are you on, Jin? What would a card be doing here?
[Jin's reasons for not attacking Ragna are pretty much the same; Plus, he has no way to inflict any major damage on him without his sword, and the urge to attack him is practically nonexistent right now. You should be thankful that your little brother isn't trying to hack you to pieces for once, Ragna.]
I... don't recall. [Maybe he did say something. It was becoming apparent that this card was messing with his body, as well as his mind. And it only took a few stumbles and falls to figure out.]
There was a card here a few minutes ago. I picked it up, and... [...Aaaand that's all he could remember.] You honestly didn't see it? You aren't lying to me, are you?
[He doesn't care either way. Jin should be thankful Ragna hasn't just walked away yet, though he's very close to doing just that.]
[In general, though. Ragna doesn't believe half of what Jin is talking about. And is still wondering what's causing him to be as confused as he is. Colors, cards, what is this nonsense. Drugs are bad, Jin.]
Why would I lie about something as stupid as that?
Why? Because I'm certain it was here. [Then again, he hopes Ragna wouldn't lie to him. Jin isn't terribly fond of lies.]
In fact, it was right there. [He points vehemently at a section of grass that looks no different than the rest of the field, convinced this will prove Ragna wrong. Unfortunately, there is little to indicate that a card was ever lying there, Jin realized. ...Time to try a different tactic.] You haven't seen them lying around? The cards?
[It was getting tiresome staring up at Ragna, but at risk of falling over and looking stupid again, Jin remains where he is.]
Unfortunately, the bad occurrences seem to be continuing for him. This simply isn't his month, is it? He ended up approaching the one person he really did not want to see right now. Jin.]
