Th-this is so embarassing...
[Shirley wraps her arms around herself as she walks through the streets of Somni, trying to hide the apparent blood that's found its way onto her clothes. She is wincing as she walks, trying to remember how she got this wound in the first place, while at the same time attempting to avoid eye contact with anyone who is staring. It hurts, but--not that much, so she doesn't deserve all this attention. There are others who are far worse off, she knows...
Her father. Her father probably suffered more than she did. She can somehow move...she can think, she can remember.
She can remember the look on Lulu's face, as she lay there in his arms, and for a moment, she wonders if she really has died.
She'd been expecting to, hadn't she? Yet somehow, this is...this is still surprising to her. This isn't Britannia, she's gathered that much...is it heaven? Why is she here...? She is confused, and there's a lot she doesn't know.
But the least she can do is fit in until she can find answers. So after pretending to be window shopping for long enough, she finally walks into one of the clothing stores she sees--trying to smile and look friendly, despite the circumstances. The realization hits her, though, as she reaches into her pocket--does she even have any money to replace this blood-stained outfit of hers?
Instead of her wallet, she finds a strange device that looks suspiciously like a phone.
Weird, though--she doesn't remember her phone ever looking like that...]
