Th-this is so embarassing...
[Shirley wraps her arms around herself as she walks through the streets of Somni, trying to hide the apparent blood that's found its way onto her

Her wanderings had taken her a little farther from home than she had anticipated, but still not terribly far.
It seems like it was a good thing too, because she saw that familiar shade of hair before something clicked in her mind. She gasps and turns to look at Shirley, and immediately stops.
There are two things she's feeling right about now: shock and excitement. Shock, because she's covered in blood (is that all she sees anymore? Everyone bleeds, yes, but...). Excitement, because...it's Shirley.
She's alive again.]

Shirley, you're here!
[Maybe it sounds a little childish, but she's so happy. Someone who had left her...was back again.]

No big deal! After all, Shirley's a pretty common one. And she's just gotten here! They couldn't possibly be referring t--]

[!!!
Shirley finds the source of the voice quickly enough, as she turns around to face her. It's...almost hard to recognize her, really, but she doesn't fully understand why at first until she stares. Really, really stares.]
Nunna! I--
[...have her eyes always been that color?]
...I am.
But where...is 'here'?

[Her smile falters just a bit at the sight of the blood, but once more she pushes it away.]
That's right, you've never seen my eyes before have you? Last time I saw you, I was still blind, wasn't I?

[She notices the sight makes her uncomfortable, though she sadly doesn't know what she can do about it at present. She--sort of turns, hoping to shield her from most of it. But she still maintains eye contact with her, because...
Well, it's kind of stunning to see hers open like that.]
Sorry. M-maybe I should change first, huh...?
[--A dream world? She would have to ask what that means. Though if she is dreaming, this would make a lot more sense.]

[She shakes her head.]
Don't be sorry. Come on, I'll take you to get some new clothes, okay? I can explain more while we're going.

[...'some things' happened?
Even Shirley has to admit, that's just...not very specific. But oh well--she did say that she would explain more on the way, after all, and she does need some new clothes. And quickly.
She is simply glad to see her again, so much more alive and well than she remembers--both able to walk and see. It is strange, maybe even suspect; but the questions could wait...couldn't they? Shirley doesn't want to wake up yet.
...So she follows her...smiling.]

[Nunnally takes off a light jacket she had been wearing and stops, holding it up to Shirley.]
I needed this earlier, when I first came out, but...I think you need it more now.
[And the reason why she needs it more now is obviously.]

[Shirley takes the jacket--perhaps reluctantly, at first, since she doesn't want to impose. She doesn't want to take anything away from her, of course, but...she figures this will at least cover up her blood, and she won't have to see it.
No one else will either, which...she supposes was the point of the gesture. She slips it on, and though it is a little tight, it is sufficient.]
...Thanks, Nunna.

[She starts off again, making sure that Shirley was going to follow her.]
I'm sure you have a lot of questions...I'll try to answer them.

Well...]
You said...this is a dream world?

Yes, it is. The phone that appeared with you here is called a Dreamberry. It broadcasts the dreams you have here, sometimes, as well as work like a normal phone.

[Shirley looks kind of shocked at the idea--namely because it doesn't take her long to realize the implications. Dreams are...private! They can be silly, they can be serious, they--
They can be any number of things...]

But...I don't even remember my dreams sometimes...
[She looks rather worried.]
