[It had been well into the night but there were no signs of Halloween slowing down in the slightest. Trick or treaters continued doing their rounds for extra candy, parties slowly reaching full-swing, and Somarium not destroying the festivities like it usually

[Well, it's a good thing that Kid hasn't realized because Beat's just about to throw a roll down from the roof. And it's heading straight for Kid's balcony.]

[and after discovering what hit him, he quickly grabs it and looks up, already activating his soul perception.]

Hey! Who threw this roll of toilet paper down here!?

[Just look up, Kid. Keep looking up and you won't notice another roll of toilet paper tossed up toward your balcony from below.

The perpetrator down there will quickly run away; you may see some sweeping black robes running back into an empty apartment from a lower balcony.]

[oh that's just plain dirty. when he gets by the second one, he has to look down and... black...robes.]

Who-!? [ah, but he senses your soul, Kay. as well as Beat's. don't make him go all death god and chase you guys around his flying skateboard because he will.]

[You know what, Beat's going to toss another roll your way from the top of the building. Luckily he's hiding behind the railings so Kid wouldn't see him right away... But he's trying so hard not to laugh out loud.]

[From the lower apartment, Kay can hear Kid yelling for her and Beat. She bites her lip to keep from giggling, and ends up with a goofy smile on her face as she runs into the corridor, shutting the door behind her.

She's not going to reply. Instead, she will either make her dramatic Great Thief escape, or just...find another vantage point to surprise Kid with one more roll before performing her disappearing act.]
