[ Harry was still sick. He had been sick almost since the beginning of the month, and it seemed all his years of not being sick back home were finally catching up with him. The green-eyed boy had been running a fever, and while it hadn't spiked beyond 102° it was enough to keep him in bed. The coughing hadn't subsided either. Harry had been asleep through most of the goings on concerning the statue, only waking up now and again to check his dreamberry. It was with great surprise and trepidation that the first rumblings of the statues movement started to shake the cottage.
[ Harry frowned as the rumblings awoke him and he stared out his window to see if he could see what was going on. Too bad his window faced the opposite direction of where the statue was coming from. ]
[ Harry, despite the rumblings had slipped back into a temporary unconsciousness, the sound of debris hitting the front door woke him back up and he frowned. His head felt full, no doubt the fever didn't help. He could hear the sounds of panicking from within the cottage and he was instantly on a foggy headed alert. He knew Remus was awake again, but Sirius was still asleep.
[ He swung his feet towards the floor and tried to stand only to sink back down to the bed. How was he going to manage this? He couldn't even concentrate enough to apparate and the thought of getting splinched was not enticing. ]
[ It was just as Harry was taking a seat back on the bed, that the statue blade sliced through a corner of Harry's room. The walls ripped off from the cottage, exposing the sick wizard to the elements outside. Across the street, the Eternal House had sustained some damage. ]
[ Harry gasped and stared as one wall to his room was suddenly ripped away. The cold air from outside burst into the room. It felt good against his feverish skin, but it was not going to be good for his health. Still as the rumbling didn't subside it seemed there were more imminent attacks to Harry's health than a little cold air. ]
[ Harry spun to his pillow and reached under it for his wand. It was probably good timing, because another blade swung down then missing Harry by inches. ]
[ D managed to dodge the second one, stepping back as the other one took another chuck out of Harry's room. As soon as the wizard grabbed his wand, D swooped down, scooping The-Boy-Who-Lived up bridal-style, and spinning around to face Espoir, cape flying. It was just as another blade swooped down that D jumped into the air, barely escaping the metal. ]
[ Harry had enough time to cry out as D swooped him up into his arms. He turned back to look at the cottage hoping everyone else managed to get out. It was then that he looked up and saw just what it was that was causing the destruction to his house. ]
[ And they needed to do it quickly. The cold wasn't going to be good for either of them.
[ Harry shifted a bit in D's arms so he could see where he was aiming. He doubted this would work as well as he wanted, especially considering this was Somarium and things were never that easy, but it was worth a try. ]
Reducto!
[ A spell blasted forth and hit the statue dead on. ]
[ The fact Harry moved was a good thing. D shifted Harry over into one arm so he could aim better--and also so D could pull out his sword with the other. ]
Nice ass, magic boy.
Compliment him later. [ D glanced back to Harry. The statue made an almost angry motion, swinging down again towards the two. ]
We're going up. [ The statue's blade slammed into the ground, shaking it wildly just as D rocketed from it with a leap. His feet hit the side of his own house, and the dhampir made three quick steps along the side as he ran, before catapulting himself towards the monster with his wielding arm almost wrapped around Harry as he prepared the strike. D slashed the large blade across the monsters surface, making a sharp crack along the side. ]
[ It was a good thing Harry was used to fast paced movement. He hung onto D with the arm that wasn't holding his wand and waited for his own opportunity to strike out again. ]
Bombarda! [ Another spell was fired though, much like D's attack, it didn't do much to really damage the statue. ]
[ D's lavender eyes shot back at the attack--but another blade whirled in on them during the bright flash-- ]
[ --And took off D's left hand. ]
[ The sword went flying into the air, along with the limb. A spurt of blood fired out afterwards, and D and Harry slowly fell to the earth. ]
[ D caught the ground on his shoulder, pulling Harry's head close into this chest. The two of them rolled across the ground, wrapped in a long expanse of leather cape.D finally skid onto his knees with a pant, dust risen in the air, and Harry pulled in against his chest with his right hand--D's arm was bleeding profusely. ]
...Are you alright? [ His voice was filled with pain. ]
[ Harry closed his eyes as the two fell downwards. His head spun and by the time they landed his head and stomach both felt no better. He looked up to D's face and frowned before his gaze took him to D's left-arm, or what was left of it anyway. ]
D! You're hurt!
[ Harry mentally ran through any spells he may known to stop bleeding, but he came up empty. ]
[As soon as the smell of D's blood hit his nose, he made a complete one-eighty and charged at full speed to go back to where D and Harry was. Full speed for him was very fast.
It didn't take long for him to reach the two.
The statue started shooting flying knives towards the two, but Takuma gave a slash with his own blade to molecularly destroy it. A wave of black smoke appeared where his blade went through.]
D!
[He jumped through the smoke and trotted to a halt and saw the two. His eyes went wide. That was a lot of blood and that was very little arm.]

We need to find a way to get it out of Espoir. The civilian's homes are here.

[What to do? What to do?!]
D! How do you heal?!

...I have only one way, but it requires both of you to stay behind me...
...And remain completely still!
[ It was just as he said that, that the statue seemed to emit a strange noise, before one of its blades pointed towards them. ]
