[Aurora was just sending off one of her larks to check on the cake when Phillip called her. She smiled as she came beside him, her arm wrapping around his. Oh! Sir Leon! Thank you so much for coming. And of course I remember. He's been wonderfully kind to me and Rapunzel.

Thank you so much for coming today.

[Thankfully he lets go... eventually. But c'mon, it's a day for enthusiasm!]

On a day like this, I can't imagine us being anything else. [And thus he shall kiss the bride! But on the cheek, this time.]

Still, have you eaten? We wouldn't want anyone to go away hungry from our occasion.

[She giggles at his kiss and, sorry Leon but she can't help but move to link their fingers together. Aurora is still a sixteen year old so very much in love with her husband. So you'll have to forgive her giddiness.]

Oh yes! We have a whole buffet set up. There should be enough to feed the whole city twice over.

[But they're the ones who will have to deal with any/all the leftovers! Ah, well.

Have a smile anyway, Sir Leon the Valorously Just.] It shouldn't be hard to miss, that's for certain.

By the way... I trust you'll be around for a little bit? There was a matter regarding the whole 'statue' debacle I was hoping to discuss with you while you were here.

Oh [She frowned, the statue was not exactly a happy topic. Still, she wouldn't stop Phillip from discussing it. However...] Hopefully not too long about such a somber topic.

[But doesn't he deserve them?] Oh, not long at all; it's just something that came to mind that seemed worth bringing up later. 'Strike while the iron is hot', isn't that what the blacksmiths always say?

[She wouldn't know, Phillip. She's never met a blacksmith.] Shall I leave you boys to talk? [She honestly rather not hear about the statue on her wedding day but she isn't going to make Phillip be quiet about it if it's on his mind.]

[Oh, if only he did! Still, he smiled at Aurora and shook his head as well.]

We can move away, it's no trouble- and I doubt we'll be even a third of that.

I'll let you boys talk. [She spots Aya.] There's someone I would like to speak to so don't worry about me.

[Smiling, he kissed Aurora's cheek as she went-

Then turned back to Leon with nothing but determination on his face.] During the aftermath, I'd gotten to thinking. No matter how well we did under the circumstances, we could've done a good bit better. We'd expected the official forces of this place to handle the situation, and we were wrong. All we did was hurry in and try to fix that mistake, each just randomly coming in on their own.

How much could we have accomplished if we were ready and waiting?

Captain Titus [He nodded at the hulking, blue-clad figure] and I thought it might be better to stay in contact with those who fought, in case another such threat came our way. Nothing more than a loose association... but that would likely be a considerable improvement over last time.

[Private army? Might ruffle a few feathers. Early warning militia, on the other hand? Sometimes the officials just need some backup, that's all.]
