It'd only been a few days since Ouka had arrived, but she was already getting the hang of things here in Somarium. She missed her family, but having Omi here with her helped a great deal. Especially since... well... he'd called her important. Important to him.
One thing had been bothering her, though. This... Schuldig fellow. He had been the first thing that Omi warned her against. Though, Omi never really said much more than "he's dangerous." She trusted Omi, and if he said this man was dangerous, then he must be. Omi wouldn't throw the word "dangerous" around casually, she was sure of it.
But when she'd met him -- and, unfortunately, she had done so before Omi's warning -- he'd been... helpful. He knew about her. Knew her father... and while Ouka trusted Omi, she also trusted her father, and she simply couldn't believe that her father would knowingly hire a dangerous man to work for him.
So, her final conclusion, after spending some time thinking all these things over, had been that Schuldig must simply be a liar. Sitting in her new apartment and mulling over these thoughts angered her. That man... he must've done something horrible to Omi for him to get so upset. He was probably not a good influence on her father, either.
And this was how she found herself in the shopping district, looking at the pretty shops in Somni, trying to distract herself.
