Summary: D, Kamui, and Sasuke somehow end up together looking for a tree. How much bonding will take place during this event?!

Sasuke didn't know that Itachi and Takuma were becoming friends, nor did he know that Kamui was also in on this act, but it really was for the best. He already wasn't comfortable with Takuma and if he found out Itachi was spying on him through the blond vampire, for that's really how Sasuke would see it, it wasn't likely to make things easy on him. Really it was probably more of a sure fire way for Sasuke to pack his things and move out.

For now ignorance was bliss, as was the warm down filled jacket he was wearing and his black leather gloves. It hadn't been easy for him to find some on in his size, but he'd managed it. He was also managing to carry the ax they would need for this nights venture.

He didn't really understand this holiday. It wasn't something they celebrated in his own world, so this job of getting a tree seemed strange to him. Still he wasn't going to say no. Besides it was with D so he didn't really mind. Though he did wonder how Kamui had gotten wrapped into this as well.

The vampire trailed behind the two, hands in the pockets of his dark coat, sharp eyes peering into the darkness of the woods. He could still catch the light of D's lantern in his peripheral, but there was no need to look at it to follow. He could see very well in this woods, not only through nightvision but his other heightened senses working to help. But it didn't seem like Kamui enjoyed the view,one can say there was something on his mind, a shared query that the whole group was wondering

D was pretty sure this was going to be a silent journey as they finally came upon the woods. The Hunter glimpsed back to make sure everyone was there before continuing on. His cape was thrown over his shoulders, and the fabric trailed along with his sable locks down his back.

And then, a familiar voice broke through the silence in the tune of Silent Night.

And there it was, that voice. It had plagued them on the hunt to find the desert worm and now it was back. Really Sasuke wished it didn't take losing D's hand to shut that thing up, well at least shut it up when D was around, because really it got on his nerves. Hanging around Naruto would have been preferred to that thing.

Still Sasuke said nothing as he felt his eyebrow start to twitch.

"You couldn't have stayed quiet?"

The silence was good. The silence was keeping Kamui calm who was already on edge. And then out of the blue, Lefty, singing an unfamiliar tune.That voice, that song and those damn lyrics!

The brunette's head snapped in D's direction, glaring. Not at D, but at the symbiote that he could not see."...Nice of you to join of us, Lefty. Now leave before I'm chopping more than Christmas trees."
