Who: Rapunzel and anyone! Come one, come all!
Where: Around the streets of Espoir -- just follow the trail of hair.
Style: Either. Will roll with the punches. :)
Status: Open! Hop on in.

[The streets are unfamiliar. The houses and such are quaint enough, but Rapunzel doesn't recognize them at all from her admittedly rather brief travels. It has ( Read more... )

[He's doing his daily wandering, hands shoved in his pockets and eyes focused on the sky above, when suddenly he notices out of the corner of his eye what appears to be some sort of...thing. It's golden, he can tell that much, and it looks a little like water in the way it moves, so, with nothing better to do, he follows it, curious.

Eventually Axel gets close enough to notice that it's actually hair.]

...Hm.

[Without much thought or regard for who it could belong to, he brings his foot up and then back down on the locks, wondering if that'll get the hair to stop.]

[The who that is attached to that hair suddenly finds herself unable to move forward. She squeaks in surprise and tips backward just a bit. A bit of flailing to catch her balance and she backtracks a bit to peek around the corner. Oh. Well, someone is on her hair. That explains that.]

Umm, sorry! I guess my hair is a little in the way, isn't it?

[He looks up when he hears her voice and sure enough there's a person attached to all of this hair. ...Wow.]

Isn't it bad to drag it around like that?

Well... [A bit of a sheepish shrug as she steps around the corner a bit, just a little warily] it's only really a problem when there are lots of people around. I probably ought to braid it up. But I didn't expect to wind up here.

[Well hey there Rapunzel! You know that horse, the one at the store you just passed by?

Suddenly you have that horse's full attention. And he thinks you smell REALLY good.

And hopefully have some petting and treats for him! Because all yellowhead girls are supposed to have pettings and treats for Samson, of course. (After all, they always have so far.) This is a horse very proud of its LOGIC!

This is also a horse nudging at your hand, mind you PEEEETTIIIINGS TIME IS NOOOW ]

[Rapunzel probably should have noticed a horse coming up behind her. But she was a bit wrapped up in trying to puzzle out where exactly this place is. When she's nudged, she turns, startled before the expression on her face melts into something of a smile.] Well hello there! Where did you come from now?

[It's definitely petting time, as she reaches out, first tentatively to pet along his long snout then a bit more confidently at his neck. Pascal meanwhile is peering at the horse from his new perch atop Rapunzel's head. Not Max, so he's keeping an eye on him.] Aren't you a pretty boy?

[Oh yes, stealthy and oh so trustworthy. Rapunzel can tell. She's a bit wrapped up petting him and cooing a bit over him. The voice though, in particular when it goes and speaks her name, that has her peeking around the horse and blinking in surprise.]

Where have I been? Well, ah... That's a really good question, actually... It's kind of difficult to say! Since I really don't know where I am. How do you know my name?

[That...was quite a lot of hair. But where was it coming from? Atoli followed the trail of hair, finally spotting a female, watching in surprise for a moment. She was able to get over the initial shock, then finally approached the girl.]

Your hair is so lovely! How were you able to grow it so long?

[She had never been able to keep hers really long without the ends splitting or something...]

[Rapunzel glances up at the words, smiling a bit hesitantly.] Oh, thank you for saying. It ah... it's kind of a long story. No pun intended. But, I've just, well, never cut it. I brush it a lot though!

Never cut it? Really? [A little surprised, as she tugs at her own short, blonde locks. In her real body, it had been longer - down to her shoulders, and black. But she found it much easier to tend to short.

So how Rapunzel was able to manage it that long was beyond her.]

I guess you would have to! I bet it tangles a lot.

[A light little laugh at that.] It's actually not too bad -- at least, it wasn't when I stayed in my tower. When I went to the kingdom though, it got a little tricky. People tend to step on it.
