[ Morgana is taking a stroll outside for fresh air. She reaches the bridge, and gives you a polite smile and nod as she's about to walk past.
If you've got any questions, she seems friendly enough to ask, even if she's wearing a pretty medieval looking dress and looks somewhat out of place. ]
[Looking over at the sound of footsteps, she has to stop a moment to process just how the lady is dressed. It's lovely and regal... and something straight off the pages of Medieval literature. Hesitating a moment, she looked back at the village and wondered if maybe this was some sort of time flux?
Well... the lady seemed pleasant enough?] Excuse me, I'm sorry to interrupt... but could you tell me where we are?
[A look of momentary surprise flickered over her face before she quickly pulled it together. That seemed so... impossible. Did that mean she was in something like a coma back home? Taking a breath, she nodded a thanks.]
That's... informative, thank you. Are you native to this place?
Castiel is in the village area, probably near the bridge. He doesn't seem to notice Maria, at least not immediately - he's staring up at the sky for some reason, his lips moving in a low murmur. When he does notice the girl, though, he turns to her, tilting his head to the side slightly and studying briefly.
Maria noticed him... and also wondered idly at his clothing. It reminded her of a detective film they sometimes saw in movie theaters. Well, if you discounted the missing fedora. She stopped when he looked at her, and offered him a polite smile at his question.
"Actually. I believe I am. I don't know this place at all."
They would probably not have a crooked tie in the movie either, which Castiel also possesses.
Anyway, the angel presses his lips together and studies Maria for a moment. "Are you a new arrival? I'm sorry, if that's the case. The village behind us is called Espoir. There's a map on your... dreamberry... the device in your pocket. It'll reveal locations of import and provide a brief description of each."
New arrival? Maria had to pause at this. So this wasn't unusual here then? People just randomly appeared after going to sleep one night? Even still, she followed his words and looked to the village she'd arrived in then stopped. Dreamberry... is that what the strange device was that she woke up with?
"I see... Thank you. Are... you from around here?" She was willing to tinker with the new item and figure it out... but any information from someone native or local was welcome.
[One thing that made it difficult to be a super solider was the increased metabolism. He got hungry faster and more often than his friends, and rather than eat all the food in their apartment, he wandered out into the city. Not only was it nice to get some fresh air, he was able to get a hotdog at his most favorite hotdog stand. A little piece of the Brooklyn he missed.
It was as he was heading back that he spotted the female on the bridge. He stopped, doing a double take, sure he wasn't seeing what he was seeing--]
[It was habit. The quick light correction with no malice. Turning about as soon as she said it, she stopped and felt a slight rush of relief. Finally a familiar face in this strange place.]
Captain Rogers? Is that really you?
[Moving closer to him, she looked up at him with a touch of worry. If Steve was here, what was happening back home? What would the Commandos do without their leader?] I don't know how I got here... one moment I was turning in at the Science and research bunks and the next I was waking up here....
It's fine. I get it... quite frequently actually. You know you could just call me Maria... [If only to cut down the confusion if possible.]
Another world? So... what I've heard from other people is true then? It just... [The scientist in her was refusing to accept it, but she'd met Morgana LeFey. That was not possible in and of itself.]
[Turning about at the sound of her name, a smile swept over her features. Okay. Things weren't as bad as she first thought them to be. If anyone could manage to size up a situation it would be Agent Carter.] Peggy..? Thank god.
[She had been staring at the strange device in her hand completely unsure of what to do with the item. In either case, she slid it into her pocket and made a mental note to mess with it more later.] Please tell me you know what's going on...
Well... I was informed that it was some sort of 'dream' world? Are we really just asleep? [It really seemed so utterly preposterous. The conscious mind being sucked out of your body to be taken somewhere else? Unbelievable...
Rubbing at her temples slowly, she took a calming breath then sighed.] That's really all I've gotten so far. Is that really all? [The scientist in her was saying this was just all wrong.]

This is a world called Somarium. It's a dream world. I've been told that we are simply asleep back in our own homes...
[ She pauses to allow the other woman to process this information ]

Yeah, it's me. And...hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're in a whole other world now.
[He knows he probably sounds crazy. He thought it was crazy too at first, but it was true.]
