Been there, done that. Which is why Alice isn't too surprised to find herself in yet another dreamworld she's been forced to inhabit.

Mary was half skipping and half walking as she came to her favorite shop for tea. By the number of visits she made to the store by now, she had become a regular and even had her own tea cup. Of course she always came at the same time each day. It was when the baked good where pulled from the ovens for the second half of the day and the smell was just wonderful. Mary paused when she came closer to her destination, seeing the other enjoying her tea outside. Mary was a little shy coming over, but gave a friendly smile when she was close enough to be heard and have the comment directed at Alice when she was. "The tea is even better if you have it inside, miss. They pull out the baked goods at this hour."

Alice, who had been lost in thought trying to figure out how she had ended up in this strange place was a tad startled when she heard a voice directed at her. She blinked, back to reality, and looked over at the other before flashing a polite smile.

"Is that so? That does sound rather nice..."

She stole another glance at the town around her. She'd have time to look around more later, wouldn't she?

"I suppose inside is where I ought to be, then."

Mary smiled brighter at the reply she recived. She really was a nice girl, just as Mary had predicted. She hoped they could become friends. Something about her reminded Mary of someone else, but she couldn't quite put a finger on what that was.

"My name is Mary Weather Hargreaves. You're welcome to join me. I always have tea here, so I can show you the best treat for yours if you like."

Alice stood to follow the girl in, smiling all the while.

"It's nice to meet you Mary, my name is Alice,"

Then she pondered for a moment. If she really did come so often, surely she would have a good knowledge on what snacks went best with which drinks.

"I would like that very much, thank you."

[This is a man who leaves his home infrequently and yet manages to know the locations of all the cafes worth noting in this world.

For once, however, it is not the cafe that he happens to really notice.

It's the girl sitting in it, quite... normally. And for a moment it's as if she never left. But he remembers it too well. It's not that she never left though. He remembers.

And yet she has returned.

For a moment he stares, and then, enters silently, walking over to her table, and staring at her for a moment, as if discerning whether or not she is the real Alice.]

...so you've come back to us.

[He's... truly very happy. He wants it to be true so very much.]

[Now there's a familiar voice, she thought as she took a sip of her tea before glancing up to him.]

Oh, Julius! It's not as though I left willingly, I honestly don't know how I ended up here and I couldn't find my way back to the clock tower...

[Waaaaaaait a minute. Julius. What you doin outside? 8|a ]

Were you worried? Did you come to bring me back?

[Ah. She seems quite puzzled about her current predicament. However, if she had truly come and gone, as many seem to do, it really isn't so strange that she had forgotten.

Though it's truly troublesome to have to repeat the basics. However, she had done so for him when he first arrived so it was his duty to return the favor, he supposed.

However. There is one important thing he must do first.

It's slightly awkward, when he kneels down and hugs her tightly -- probably far too tightly. However, after having lost her once... it was important. There was a flood of relief that came with her return to this world... to his side.]

You've done nothing wrong.

[She's still wondering about why he had left his tower, and if he had done so for her. The thought brings a light tint of pink to her cheeks-- but that blush only darkens when she feels the mans arms suddenly wrap around her.

WHEN HAD HE GOTTEN IN THE KNEELING POSITION??]

Ah J-Julius...?

[She was... lacking oxygen, but confused more than anything else as she awkwardly patted the other on the back.]

I-It's okay now right? You found me, so... can you... please.. let go..!?

[DON'T KILL HER WHEN SHE'S ONLY JUST ARRIVED OKOK.]

[he may have just been wandering.

he may have been lost.

he may have just been wandering and lost.

but regardless of the why or how, this was Ace walking by and spotting her.]

Alice? You're back!

[Whelp. The serenity was nice while it lasted. With a small jump she shifts to look up at the all too familiar knight.]

Hello, Ace...

[A pause. Back?]

Have I-- Have we been here before?

[and a disappointed sigh. yes. disappointed.]

You really need to learn to keep your memories.

Well, I've been here for a while, but you've come and gone a few times. So I guess that would be a yes, we have been here before.

[That earns him an irritated frown.]

Well sorry, I hadn't realized I lost any...

Just where is "here"? It's not any place in Heartland I can recall coming to even once, never mind a few times.

Miss Alice?

[A voice calls behind the older Alice. Alice couldn't believe it. She was back... again.]

[Someone else she knew? Alice turned to look. Strange, she couldn't place the face.]

Yes?

[A pause. Something seemed familiar, though she couldn't quite put her finger on it...]

Have we met before?

[It was very hard trying to fight the sigh wanting to come from her lips. She had been forgotten again? She wondered if the other Alices would ever remember her upon returning to Somarium. She shook her head.]

No... I suppose not.

Oh.

[Hm. She seemed... dissapointed? Had she mistaken her for someone else? ... Still there is the fact she knew her name. Was there another girl named Alice who looked just like her running around in this place?]

How strange, then, that you knew my name right away without my telling you...

[Nokoru supposed he could be doing more important things right now. Like finding a place to live, or enrolling in school...perhaps even find out more about Somarium.

But he couldn't pass up trying the cafe's new tea flavor. He was sipping at his unique brew, when he spots Alice sitting alone. He walks over to her table bring his cup.]

Excuse me, Miss, but do you mind if I sit here?

[Alice stares at him for a long moment... before shaking her head.]

No, I don't mind.

[Something is differen't... this boy, he has a face! It's caught her off guard to see a new face. Something she would need to get used to again. She had been in Heartland for so long and gotten used to the fact that many had no faces by which to tell them apart, aside from those select important few in Heartland who did...]

I'm not expecting anyone, so please feel free to sit here if you'd like.

Thank you, and of course I would want to sit with a charming girl like yourself. I'm surprised that you're sitting here alone.

[Nokoru sits in the opposite chair from Alice, setting his teacup and saucer on the table. His blue eyes giving the older girl eye contact, and a good natured smile not leaving his lips.]

So how long have you been here? I'm still getting used to everything here, but it's not too different from back home.

[O h. What a sweet heart this one is. u///u]

Ah, you think so...?

[Just going to sip her tea now, giving herself something to distract from over thinking about his compliment.]

I'm not quite sure how long, I think I've only just arrived.
