Been there, done that. Which is why Alice isn't too surprised to find herself in yet another dreamworld she's been forced to inhabit.
Whelp. Might as well try to make the best of it. So after a bit of exploring Alice stumbles

he may have been lost.
he may have just been wandering and lost.
but regardless of the why or how, this was Ace walking by and spotting her.]
Alice? You're back!

[a slight shrug.]
"Like" might not be the right word. But it's more interesting.

Y-You can't be serious...?
[Then again why would he joke about all of those things?]
It all sounds a bit... more than interesting, if you ask me. In fact, this place may be more insane than the last-- and didn't you say it's less violent here? Giant statues attacking, disease and jungles don't sound like every day, ordinary, peaceful times!

Haha, I don't think even that cat could make up a story like that!
But it's true it's not as violent here. I mean, those things only happen every other month or so. At least you don't have to worry about someone trying to kill you every day, right?
Reply
Boris? No, I don't suppose he could.
[She eyes him a bit suspiciously, considering he was one of those people she had to worry about up until recently.]
Right... How about you, Ace? You haven't caused any trouble of that sort around here, have you?
Reply
I don't think so.
[does having a minor lapse and going psycho on sort of zombie NPCs count?]

You don't think so...? Somehow that's not very reassuring.

Well if you really want to know, there was a time where everyone believed they had alternate lives. Apparently I was some kind of serial killer or something, but I really only killed one person. He's not here anymore.
Then there was another time when the locals were possessed or something. They had some kind of disease and were attacking everyone. So I just helped get rid of the problem.
But other than that, I've kept my promise not to kill anyone.
[and he is so nonchalant about this.]
Reply
That's...
[She doesn't really know what to say about that.]
Not keeping your promise, Ace.
[She reaches up to rub at her temples.]
But seeing as how you seem to be doing better... that's good. You're progressing, at least...

Though when you told me "Not to kill anyone," you didn't really specify. Plus, the mob were dangerous-there wasn't really much choice.
If it's any consolation, I didn't try to kill Blood when he was here last? Or the cat. [as tempting as it had been.]

[At the mentioning of Blood, Alice's mood instantly changes. Every word Ace speaks after his name becomes a jumbled mess as all Alice can focus on are the sour feelings flooding in. That man... he had been determined to make life most difficult for her before she arrived. Hearing about him now only brought a frown to her lips.]
Is that so? I had no idea that he of all people had been here.
Reply
Yeah, he had. Twice, I think. Or maybe three, it's hard to keep track sometimes, haha. Hm...Elliot, Her Majesty, and the Dormouse were here before, too.
Reply
That many times, huh?
[She'll grip her tea cup a bit tighter now with anxiety. Does that mean he'll return here again?]
I wonder if they will all come back?
Reply
[and slight tilt of the head.]
Would it bother you if they did?
Reply
[Whether she disliked it or not, if Blood were to arrive, it isn't likely she could do anything about it.]
If they return, it's best to accept it.
After all, there are those from Heartland I do wish to see again.
