Change of Seasons | Spring
The past few days in Somarium had been getting warmer. The snow had long been gone and the plants and flowers were starting to bud and bloom. Birds were singing, small animals were starting to scurry about. In fact, had they been around before? Or had they just appeared?
Whatever they case, small woodland creatures could be found around the village, and the parks were becoming homes to squirrels, birds, and other small wildlife. Compared to the past few dark weeks, the arrival of the spring season seemed to transform the world. The skies were brighter with seemingly bluer skies, a fresh cool, but comforting breeze blew every now and then, and it was warm enough for those to wear short sleeves.
It was still just the beginnings, but over the next few weeks until the warm season of summer came, Somarium will be feeling the fresh new spring weather, and hopefully it would help bring a fresh new life to the world.
It should also be noted that the barrier has been completely fixed, and that while there are still some repairs in the process, several of the once destroyed buildings and areas that suffered from the previous earthquake and noctaere attack have been renovated and made anew. There may be some new places built in the process. But when did this construction occur? How? One's best guess would be the ghosts or the Overlord herself. Whoever or whatever it was, they would be continuing until everything had been fixed.
