Hihara rounded the last bend in his lap around Espoir, coming back to his cottage. "Man, nothing like a run to wake you up in the morning!" He slowed down and stretched as he reached his door, then opened it up and pulled out the trumpet he'd left sitting on the table just inside the door. He closed his door again, and looked to the east, smiling when he saw that the sun was just now coming up. Well, time for him to greet it!
He took a deep breath, and started playing his trumpet brightly. He knew Bugle Call would be the most appropriate thing to play, but he was in the mood for Gavotte, so he let the perky tune carry across the peaceful morning.
