After her dream and her conversation with Spain, Miranda began making her way to the fountain, where they had agreed to meet. As she walked (VERY carefully so as to avoid tripping), she felt happy and cheerful. She was almost humming; Spain's cheerful enthusiasm was pretty infectious.
But by the time she arrived at the fountain, she was a nervous wreck once more. Although the walk had seemed like a good idea when she and Spain had discussed it, her panicky mind was quickly spouting reasons for her to not do it.
After all, what if she humiliated herself in front of him? What is she did or said something that angered him? How could she possibly save face after that? But she tried to reassure herself; Spain seemed like a nice guy. He wouldn't turn on her if she embarrassed herself.
