Aya took a few moments to pack a light bag: First Aid Kit, some snacks, water, and an extra jacket since Luffy could be a little slow in realizing it was cold. Hopefully, everything would work out... but Aya would be lying to say she wasn't a little scared. This wasn't like the pirates that she read about in that romance novel. Real pirates were dangerous! And... here she was going out to meet one with the full knowledge it could be just that dangerous.
Man, maybe her brother was right all along to worry about her judgment.
Then again, maybe there was simply something to be said about Fujimiya blood: it was stubborn. Once a Fujimiya decided to do something, there was little to no stopping that person. Aya had decided she was going to get to the bottom of this pirate business. Luffy had been so much fun to hang out with for even just the two or three minutes that she'd spent with him. His spirit was wild and vibrant and, though she hated to admit it, so much lighter and brighter than those of her adopted family. They were all good people though... so surely Luffy was too, right? He couldn't be that bad to make her feel so happy and alive.
Dressed warmly and backpack on, Aya checked that her Dreamberry was in her pocket and walked to the bizarre lift that transported residents to the mountain and back, her eyes on lookout for Luffy.
