Who: Maka and Soul
Where: The floating castle

When they both decided to go on this little expedition of theirs, Soul had stated he didn’t want to go anywhere when the weather was still cold and crummy.
And yet here they were, standing in the middle of Espoir with temperatures that would send anybody in a state of constant shivering. Maka was certainly no exception, and a tiny portion of her begged to head back to the warmth and comfort of their apartment-but here they were now, and who knew when the weather would get better than it had been. Besides, they had put this off long enough; an opportunity like this couldn’t wait.
After letting out one last breath at gloved hands in an attempt to keep them warm, Maka craned up her head from their spot in the middle of the street way, eying the castle as closely as the distance would allow (which was, needless to say, not very close up at all).
“Well,” she began, looking back down towards her partner when the castle didn’t look any different from most days. Maka dug out the Dreamberry in her pocket as well as a card-their way of getting up there. “I’m ready when you are.”
