Raiden strode quietly along the main Espoir path, a hand placed gently over the pack strapped to his belt. He was on his way to Tamaki's Christmas party. Though normally Raiden knew he didn't belong in such social affairs anymore, he decided he needed to drop off a couple of items in light of the holiday spirit. First, he had to leave the Secret Santa gift the Overlord insisted he bring for a certain thirtysomething-now-twentysomething tavern-owner. But he also brought a small, plain box, unwrapped but tagged with a small slip of paper addressed to Luke. It was something the boy forgot at the courthouse the other day, and Raiden intended to see it fall back in its owner's hands.
Raiden figured the trip didn't have to take long. He would slip in, leave the two packages, and sneak on back out. He'd be gone before anyone noticed he was there. The music and the events should distract everyone well enough, right... ?
