[One would probably notice that Shiki wore two things around her neck when she took Ito out on their daily walk. One was the necklace she received from Riku on their third month anniversary. The other was the crown necklace he had left behind in their bedroom. If you happen to pass her, she seemed distracted. Probably because she had brought her a little green MD with her and she had her ear buds on, listening to this full blast; thinking that it will help her cope with Riku's recent disappearance. It was helping, in a way, but the song was also making her tear up a little bit.
Ito looks up at his master, barking and whining in concern. She stops in her tracks, wiping her eyes with her hand before kneeling to the puppy's level in order to give him a pat on the head.]
Shhh.... I'll be fine, Ito. Don't worry, okay?
[She stands again, sighing. And continues to walk on aimlessly. She feels... lost and confused. All Shiki knows now is that she doesn't want to go back home to the apartment yet.]
