Who: Zoro (
strayswordsman ) and anybody else!
Where: in the Straw Hat's cottage by Lake Meridian
Style: Whatever! I prefer brackets but anything is fine.
Status: Open to all for voiced responses to the Dreamberry message, closed to people who could plausibly be in/around the cottage for action.
[Zoro is regularly up in the early morning for a pre-breakfast workout, although his weights in Somarium are only make-shift, and far too light-he'll have to go out and correct that soon. The point is, he's generally awake to hear the cook prepare the first meal of the day, and to witness the draw of said meal seducing his crewmates toward the kitchen as soon as they manage to drag themselves out of bed-or as soon as they catch a whiff and bolt out like a shot straight for Food, in Luffy's case. With only Zoro, Luffy, Sanji, and now Usopp around, here, it's less crowded than back on the Thousand Sunny, but that part of the routine hasn't changed.
At least until today, when Zoro comes back into their shared room, scrubbing the sweat from his head with a towel, and notices that Luffy...is still asleep. Even with the strong, tantalizing aroma of bacon wafting through the air, which his captain is drooling obliviously into his pillow at the scent of-he's still asleep. Zoro's brow furrows, and after a moment he lobs his sweaty towel to land on Luffy's face.]
Oi. Wake up.
[...No response. Cue one swordsman heading over to the bedside and jabbing the snoring rubber boy in the side ungently with a sheathed sword.]
Luffy. [...Jab.] There's meat. [...Jab, jab.] Usopp's eating it all. [...WHACK INNA RUBBER HEAD!] Wake up. [...Still no response.] What the hell...?
[He'll still be standing there in perplexity if anyone else pokes their head in to see what the hold up is.
Some time later, however, while Luffy eats obliviously in his sleep, Zoro will reluctantly pick up his Dreamberry, stare at it narrowly for long moments, then carefully press the buttons that will broadcast his question to everyone in Somarium-though he thinks he's only sending to the doctor woman that patched him up after he arrived: Naomi.]
Oi. There some kind of drug or poison around here that could...make somebody stay asleep? [...] Luffy won't wake up.
[OOC: Responses may be a bit delayed as I'm heading to bed now and will be busy tomorrow. Apologies! o/]
