If someone was to walk down the streets of Espoir they might see a young girl sitting all alone on a park bench. At a closer look they would soon notice the tired and almost empty look on her face. Her eyes appear red from shedding many tears and small bags have formed under them from lack of sleep. This was the face of a girl who had just lost the two most important people in her life.
It had all started when she’d checked her dreamberry and discovered Oz’s name to be missing. Oz, the boy who after knowing her for many months had decided to ask her to be his girlfriend and who had made her feel so happy. At first she panicked, and checked the dreamberry again and again to make sure she hadn’t just missed his name. No, she hadn’t missed it. It was gone for good. Rena shook her head in disbelief. This wasn’t happening. Then she remembered. Spain had been there for her when Keiichi had disappeared so of course she could count on him again for comfort. Rena quickly began to scroll through the dreamberry and after a lot of frantic searching the truth slowly donned on her. Spain was now gone too; the man who had become much more than a friend to her and who had known her longest out of everyone in Somarium. Now he too, was gone. "I didn't even get to say goodbye..." She threw the dreamberry across the room and spent the rest of the night in a state of shock and deep sorrow.
And now here she was, outside in the chilly weather away from her cottage that was filled with things that served as a constant reminder of those she had recently lost.
